The Xperia Z was revealed by Sony at the recent Consumer Electric Show in Las Vegas, boasting a number of exciting features.

With a large, 5.0 inch TFT Capacitive touchscreen, the Sony Xperia Z is water proof, able to stay in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. The display is covered by a shatter proof and scratch resistant glass, making the Xperia Z a real tough customer.

But there is more to the Xperia Z than just strength, the device is a powerful smartphone that will carry the flagship banner for the Xperia range into 2013.
