EE has introduced a new data package, offering a larger amount of data for super users, which is available on at a discount until the end of February.
The new plan more than doubles the amount of data previously available on EE's top package, which offers 8GB of inclusive data. EE say that the new deal would be ideal for the small number of users who use more than 8GB per month, which EE number at less than one percent.
The super user data plan will be available to users at a special discounted rate on a 12 month SIM Only deal of £46 per month, as long as users sign up to the package before the 28th February. In addition to the 20GB of data, the plan includes unlimited UK calls and unlimited text.
For those who don't have a 4G compatible handset, EE will be offering the super user plan on a 24 month agreement for £61 until the 28th February.
In addition, EE are going to be introducing a special promotion which will run from the 31st January until the 31st March, offering a range of entry level deals to entice customers to sign up to the new 4G service. For £31 a month on a 24 month plan, users will be able to get a package that offers unlimited calls and text, with 500MB of data, with a range of 4G smartphones including the Nokia Lumia 820 and HTC SV LTE from just £29.99. This offers users a discount of £90 compared to current EE deals.
“It is our aim to offer consumers the most comprehensive range of 4GEE price plans,” said Pippa Dunn, Chief Marketing Officer at EE. “With these new options we are looking to not only make 4G smartphones even more accessible, but offer even greater value for the small number of super users out there – ensuring EE really does offer a package that is tailored for all customers 4G needs.”
