I haven't had my contract HTC one s for long but the battery life is not very good as I have to charge it every day. It's slow and freezes sometimes. Other than that its a really good phone. It has good features. I'm just annoyed I can't upgrade it for another year. I Love the screen size and all the apps on there. I definitely would recommended this phone…
Good points- quite trendy phone, I love the look and it is also easy access to Internet and has many helpful applications. It is great for taking pictures and uploading them directly on any social networking site.
Bad points- needs charging often, especially if you regularly use the Internet. At least once a day, but does charge quite quickly, if you are using the Internet often. As I am using this…
My HTC Wildfire S is the best phone I have ever had. It is fast, runs smoothly and looks fantastic. Accessing the Internet is easy and I have all the apps I could ever want to help spice up my phone a little. The camera is brilliant and perfect for me because I love to take photos. The price was well worth it for the excellent quality Mobile I received.…

The phone is a lovely touch screen phone, so simple to use, easy to text call use apps and surf the web. Only downside I have seen is that the screen hates rain and snow! Pointless if your out and about in bad weather and need to use your phone. Lots of different apps available to download for free or to purchase, easy to set up and battery life is…
Bearing in mind this phone is nearly 2 years old, ancient by mobile standards, it's still pretty good. It's even been dropped a good few times with no obvious damage to casing or functions of the phone so its fair to say it's sturdy and built to last. Used daily for texting and phone calls the battery lastS the entire day, using it for the web though seems to eat…
Stunning display quality, performance generally excellent. Hard to locate and use volume control which is nearly invisible (which could be OK) and are hard to find by touch (which is not at all OK). The inbuilt text entry handling I found unusable due to over-eagerness to guess my intentions, but installing the free app Swift-key solved this. Screen is just large enough to do useful work on, and I…
The best part about this phone is the big screen and the navigation buttons are just perfectly placed, oh and I can not forget about the wonderful features it contains like the camera and the front facing camera which is perfect for face to face calls and when your meeting up with friends. What I don't like so much is the applications on the Android market aren't consistent as they…
The design of the phone is very nice whilst also being very sturdy with its titanium and rubber shell, I've dropped it on many occasions and there's barely a mark on it. It has all the necessary features, good use of widgets, ability to customize your homepages, good media player and photo gallery tools. It's very easy to use with good button placement eg. lock/on and off and volume adjuster.…
I use this phone everyday to call, download apps, take pictures, video calling, record videos in HD, constantly on the Internet, checking emails or browsing. It has 8MP camera which is great, and also has a front facing camera which is convenient for video calling. It has beats audio so you get the music quality. The phone itself is very easy to use and superb for multi-tasking and you never…
Great camera ability, although better on close ups than distance images. Continuous shoot facility, fantastic to ensure you don't miss that perfect shot. Also quick and simple to capture a picture from a video. Battery life not great but for what its performing its to be expected. I haven't yet found out how to sort images into separate folders. Robust - I did drop it and it scraped the outer…
As a beginner in this type of phone is it easy to set up and use daily, It took maybe a day to set up the phone how I wanted it and got the apps that I wanted easily. Helpful wizards keeps the storage amounts in check. The bad with all the apps and things the battery power can easily die once a day so I have to always remember…
HTC one S is a fantastic phone, the features are amazing. I'm not great when it comes to technology not to say though that this is a basic phone but I found the features and the usability amazing. It's like having a portable laptop but better. It's so slim and just a great size for the pocket or handbag. There is one problem I definitely have found is the battery…
I have had this phone a while, and despite it's size it's far more durable than it looks. This is an easy phone to use, good battery life even for the most avid of Internet browser. Syncs with your emails easily although it can sometimes take over an hour for the email to get to the handset but this is the case for a lot of HTC phones. The screen…

I really love this phone, it is super easy to use and looks quite sleek. The addition of google play, and being able to use google drive makes running my business much easier. The battery only lasts a day, but considering how much I use it, this is to be expected. Some great (and very addictive) games available for this phone. The camera isn't great under low light, but is…
A very small, light and good looking phone that pops easily in my bag. It feels great to use, the applications are easy to download and the menu easy to get to grips with. The memory is excellent as is the battery life and the ringtones are brilliant. The screen size is ideal. The contacts address book allows me to store all my friends data. I text with ease on…
Easy to use and packed with features. Good music playback, the Beats system gives an excellent sound. Excellent video quality, especially on playback. Battery life is ok depending what you're using it for, will run music for hours, but if you're using the screen will drain quite quickly. Excellent camera and camcorder. Let down by Android not offering some apps, not the phones fault though. Phone freezes and requires restart…
This phone is easy to use once you get the hang of it and reasonably easy to navigate. The only problems I've had are with the battery life as the phone gets older and the occasional sticking when the software crashes. I'm also not overly fond of the fact that you have to use the pad of your finger on the touch screen as it means getting your hands…
Initially I was very pleased with the device, although the battery life soon became an issue!
Plus points: The notification LED is very useful and the camera takes amazing pictures. Negative points: soft keypad too tightly packed and very poor battery life.
It's another smart phone that just doesn't quite get there. It's a shame because it's a good looking device and not too bulky. Standard connection interfaces make it more…
When you use Internet it drains the battery very fast. When you use play the games online the phone tends to crash. Very good if you get lost as it has a built in sat nav. Easy to use and stylish. Phone comes in a verity of colours, I have mine in the red. Lot's of different games to play. It has a touch screen, which is easy…
The biggest problem I've had was at the very beginning. The phone arrived in a sealed box. There were no instructions included. It seemed to be dead or needing a recharge but nothing happened when I plugged in the charger. I knew I needed to open it to put in the Sim card but could see no way to do this without resorting to violence! I eventually downloaded a pdf…
HTC have come to the forefront in recent years but have been developing handsets for networks to rebrand since 1997. With the rise in popularity of Sim Free
mobile phones HTC made a name for themselves and have gone from strength to strength.
It is only in recent years that High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) as a name in mobile phones has come to the forefront for consumers but they have in fact been in the industry since 1997 producing handsets many would not realise and probably have owned. HTC produced many handsets for other companies to be rebranded as their own.
HTC are most known now for their cutting edge smartphones and started out by selling many unbranded versions as sim free mobile phones to fill a gap in the market. HTC since have gone from strength to strength creating some of the most popular handsets available on the market today.
History of HTC mobile phones
HTC have been producing mobile phones since 1997 under their HTC brand and subsidiary brand Qtek.
The HTC origins were initially as an out sourcing manufacturer in Taiwan producing original designs to be rebranded for networks at the forefront mainly for Windows Mobile Devices. The UK network devices they produced for Orange being the SPV range, for O2 the XDA range, MDA on Tmobile and some renamed phones appearing on Vodafone in their business range from both HTC and their sister company Qtek.
Since their rise to prominence HTC have developed cutting edge phones based on great user interfaces for handsets such as the HTC Touch with its Touch Flo interface and HTC Touch Diamond and were even able to make Windows Mobile Devices good compared to many others.
HTC continue to develop handsets for the market to be rebranded including the Google Nexus One and the Tmobile G1.
The move into Android phone market is proving massively popular so much so that their next handset the HTC Magic was exclusively taken up by Vodafone.
HTC are continuing to drive the mobile phone market with innovative smartphones for all budgets with the HTC Desire, Legend and Wildfire.
