Great
Great Entry Level Smartphone

Fifi79 posted on

Great entry level smartphone. Brought this as my first smartphone and haven't been disappointed. It is extremely easy to use, and has all the essential apps I needed. Was not impressed with the battery life, but after talking to friends it is ok, as all smartphones have poor battery life, apparently. I have quickly outgrown it, and want something faster and with a better memory size. I would recommend this to parents who are being pestered for a smartphone, because it is easy to use, you can get it on some really cheap tariffs, it does everything it needs to do and when they complain they want a new one, you wont mind because it hasn't cost the earth, unlike some others.

Fair
Great budget smartphone, but poor battery life

Alisdair_c posted on

As a relatively new smartphone, this is not too expensive. It comes with Android system installed, which many people are now familiar with. It is light and looks smart with a good design and finish. It's not too big either, with the screen being a decent size. My greatest issues with this phone are the lack of an exit button (if you browse the internet through several pages there is not one button to exit, you have to hit 'back' repeatedly, which can take a while), and the battery life. If you use the phone to it's full potential (regularly use apps like online banking, emails and social media / messaging), the battery lasts less than a day. Not useful if this is a business phone and you plan to use it regularly throughout the day - do not go far from a charger. I imagine it would be worse if you used high-demand applications like gaming for example.

In summary, this is a good budget smartphone, and certainly has many features to compete with the more expensive rivals. However, don't expect the battery life to last long (after 6 months you will really start to notice this).

Love this phone, isn't a bad point at all i would recommend to all. Great features, great size and I like it because it isn't too bulky or heavy. Power saving modes are excellent, it is easy to put on silent etc as some phones can be tricky. Plenty ringtones, has lots of different tweaks i.e. you can see incoming messages on the screen or you can hide them. It will delete your messages after your in box is full. It is is great for internet users , Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, emails and lets you know on screen when you have received mail messages etc. Absolutely brilliant and as I said cant fault and would recommend this phone to anyone. It is also very easy to set up and use out of the box.

Great
Great little phone

I really like this phone. but as with everything there are always things to change.

The overall design and features are very good. smart, stylish and easy to use. The battery charges quickly and enables a quick 30 min charge from a dead battery to enable you to carry on for the day with a working phone. Also the phone does sometimes get stuck in applications which means the phone sometimes needs a reset.

These points aside the phone is usable for all ages and works well as a camera, on the internet and also as a sat nav. These have been used everyday in my working day and never had problems. I am very pleased with the features and would definitely recommend the phone to others.

Superb
Good reliable phone battery disappointing

Suemay posted on

Bought this phone as my old one broke. I Use the phone daily as it is my spare phone for personal use to text, email and make calls it is very good at taking pictures that are of a good standard. I can keep all my appointments and dates connected for work and personnel use. The screen is very good and clear and when using the Internet it is just like having your laptop in front of you. The only down side I have is the battery takes a while to fully charge and does not last as long as other mobiles I have had. If Samsung could improve the battery on this phone it would score higher.
