Poor
Not state of the art, but perfectly functional

Paulcheshire posted on

Got this as part of an upgrade on my existing contract. It's a good looking, nicely proportioned phone with very clear display, but I found it hard to learn after the Sony Xperia X8 (touchscreen) I had previously been using.

My main usage is texting, and being large handed I find the qwerty keyboard very fiddly, due to the small size of the keys and the awkward placement of the "alt" and the two Capitals keys. The camera is nothing to write home about, but considering it was a free handset I cant really complain, the quality is good enough for decent "snapshots" when out and about but the video resolution isn't up to much, but this isnt a minor gripe as I have a digital SLR for serious work. the flash is OK, but don't expect anything startlingly good.

Sound quality and volume, on the other hand are very good, both for music playback and ringer volume. the alarm is potent, which I find very useful. also the capability to turn on the Telecoil setting for use with hearing aids is (for me) a welcome feature. build quality seems OK so far, nothing has cracked, broken or fallen off. All in all a useful piece of kiy. I know it's not a "must have" iPhone, but not being style conscious, and considering it was free, accompanied by an excellent tariff, I am more than satisfied. as I said my main usage is split about 60 - 40% texting and voice calls, and as far as the function go it is perfectly acceptable as far as I am concerned.

I have no faults with this phone I think it is brilliant in every way and does its job as well as can be expected. The only thing I do say is that it takes about 5 min to load up from switching on. All features are easy to use even my children can use this phone.

I use my phone on a regular/daily basis for calls texts and internet and never had any problems.

WiFi and Bluetooth very good easy to use and keeps connection and easy to connect.

I would recommend this phone to friends and family.

Great
Has everything that you would need in a phone

Very easy to use and lots of useful features. Like the qwerty keyboard but the keys are a little small. Looks very good. Good size and Lightweight. Camera does not have a flash though but takes good pictures. Battery last a long time on standby. Have the text notification at the highest sound level but is a little quiet. I do not use the Internet very much but the occasional times I use it is quick and easy to use. Turns on and off quickly. Has everything that you would need in a phone. Would very much recommend the phone.

A Fair basic smartphone for the size but room for alot of improvement to compete.

Dougie01 posted on

It is a handy small phone but not enough gadgets and graphics with the screen too small compared to iPhone and Samsung Galaxy but can be a handy smart phone for the elder generation and for basic use just to make calls, messages and check basic info. But considering it is an old handy phone not bad but a lot to improve for its size to compete with the current market and not worth the current asking price. I think it was better at the time of release and for its handy size but its still too small as Ive lost this phone easily once and it can be reliable and resistant to damage.

Great
great little phone

Love the features on the Blackberry 9320 and the fact it comes in a variety of colours. The price isn't too bad and as its a similar shape to other models you can use your accessories with this model too. I personally have trouble with the key size as I have arthritis and constantly press the wrong key while texting, but other than that its very simple and easy to use. The screen is a lovely size and clear to see. The camera isn't the best on it, but pictures taken outside aren't too bad, otherwise photos tend to be a little blurry or dark. Apps work well and it doesn't clog up or freeze like older models. Over all quite pleased with the phone.

A little gem.

I love the QWERTY keypad, and this was the main reason for choosing this phone over others as it makes texting and typing so much easier and quicker. I dislike touchscreen phones, and this seemed like a great alternative! The features take some getting used too, but once you have the hang of it, this phone is easy to use. Only issues are battery life, and my model has a very poor camera, without a flash. However, I have found my phone to be reasonably sturdy, having dropped it numerous times, resulting in only minor scratching to the outer case. A great little phone generally, however I fear Blackberry's are being overshadowed and pushed out by the increasingly popular iPhone.

Great
Everything you could ever want in a phone

Peterinbristol posted on

The phone is excellent and has all the features you could possibly need. On the negative side it is just a little bulky compared to other phones in the range. It really is like having your PC with you whenever you leave the house, to be able to collect your emails when on the move truly keeps yo in contact with everyone. It has a simple design and is extremely easy to use and set up, it does not use overly technical features and is easy even for the complete novice. Coverage is occasionally a little suspect but no more so than any other phone.
