A British design student has built the world's first smartphone to be made from Bamboo. The ADZero is set to be launched in the UK during 2012. The handset was created by Kieron Woodhouse, a student at Middlesex University, and developed during his own spare time. He received financial backing for the idea from an entrepreneur after publishing details of the handset design online. The handset will run on the Android Operating System, and runs the latest version, Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich. In total during 2011 Motorola Mobility shipped 42.4 mobile units, of which 18.7 million were smartphones, and over 1 million Tablets. Motorola Mobility is currently working through...

Announced at the CES event this week, Sony claim that they will have the service available for the iOS platform during the first quarter of 2012. The Music Unlimited service is available on a range of Sony devices, including the PS3, BluRay players and Sony TV's. An app for Android smartphones already exists, so the next logical step would be to roll out the service to iOS. The service, once launched, is expected to run on a similar basis to...
