looking forward to the upgrade in 2009

Search function could be better in contacts, as I've been used to a symbian os on Sony Ericssons. The bluetooth is having problems connecting to my tomtom. The Touch Flo cube is a nice feature, co pilot works well. A shame that the radio can't work without the earphones.

When phone is in standby, it is impossible to see the screen in bright daylight to activate the phone.
Still a nice stylish phone, looking forward to the upgrade in 2009.

So far so good. Nice, sleek mobile phone

I have recently bought the Orbit 2.

So far so good, nice phone, sleek and design all in perfect condition.

But only one problem I am facing... If I try to send any picture.

Also need mobile flash player to play on line videos which you should be able to download from the internet.

Email, office apps and a nice camera, go for the XDA Orbit 2

The O2 Xda Orbit 2 replaced my trusty Blackberry pearl. I looked forward to the integration of Windows mobile 6 with my Office 2007 and expected real email benefits over my Blackberry but no, I have duplicate contacts as there does not appear to be a way to tune the Active Sync. The blackberry had this working great. The Blackberry had full voice recognition so CALL JOHN SMITH MOBILE got the contact pulled out of the address book. The Orbit must have voice tags set up. This does prevent the slightly irritating problem of the Blackberry saying 'Did you say...' but I can't be bothered to add voice tags for all my contacts so I can only call some people on the move. The email presentation is better in the Orbit and I like typing with the stylus which I find quicker than the Blackberry sure-type.
The GPS seems to work well although I have never had a TomTom or Garmin so cannot compare it accurately. Annoyingly Co-pilot is not fully integrated with the phone so an attempt at making a call with the voice tags resulted in Co-Pilot talking over the command. You could argue that is is desirable but I would like it to mute GPS when calling using a voice tag.
Overall a nice PDA, a bit complicated with not quite windows menus, close, but no cigar. Battery life takes a hammering if you play with it a lot and I miss the blackberry game Brick Breaker but I'm sure I can find one. I am determined to get a grip on the menus and features so if you want GPS email, office apps and a nice camera, go for the Orbit 2. If you want an easy to use phone and email client have a Blackberry.
