Good all-round phone that has lasted well with no complaints
This is a chunky, well designed and appealing little phone that is durable and has lots of character for a small phone.
The ergonomics give it a quality feel, and even though it is slightly heavy by modern phone standards it is fairly small.
The features are impressive and include bluetooth, mp3 player (with limited memory), fm radio, triband, wap, infra red, camera, and video with light. It also incorporates built in stereo speakers and comes with wired earphones which also act as the antannae for the radio.
The screen is a good size and the polyphonic ringtones sound excellent. The pc software to connect to and transfer photos/music works well, and Sony stands up to it's reputation for making desirable, quality electronic goods. A good all-round phone that has lasted well with no complaints.
Robust, good battery life, no problems in 2 years
Very robust and long battery life, this phone is good for all situations and has lasted me over 2 years now without any major problems, which is good by any phones standards. The camera is not great, but it does the job and it has all the features that you need.
Recommend - its brilliant!
I went on contract for the first time with t-mobile and I am very impressed with the phone I got aswell. Its a gorgeous design and its excellent features makes it easy to use.
I think they should make some more vibrant colour schemes with the design but that is the only means of improvement that i can think of to be truthful....
I would recommend this phone to any one - its brilliant !!!!!
I love Sony Ericsson phones
Super phone
Had this phone a while now and have had no problems with it. I love Sony Ericsson phones anyway but this phone is very reliable and looks good. The only problem I have with the phone being a woman, is that the phone is quite chunky so I find it hard to squeeze into a small handbag. The MP3 player is very good and I love the swivel design as it makes it easy to use and open. Overall I would definitely recommend. ;-)
A very good servant!
Ive had my phone for over a year now and its been a very good servant! I love the whole walkman series that is being produced by Sony Ericsson right now. I love the whole idea of one thing doing it all. At the time when this came out it was one of the better mobile phones on the market but things have moved on since.
Still I loved the MP3 player and the overall quirkyness of this phone. The features are not as powerful as the phones out now as the video recorder and camera lack in power but still good enough for the odd joke shot.
One thing that has always bothered me being a lad is that I keep this phone in my pocket. The phone has a latch on the side for keypad lock and unlock and it is very easy to get knocked. With the internet button being on the front this then gets activated and you get charged which was a bit of a pain. Ladies would not have this problem if keeping it in a bag as my partner has one of these as well. You also find it can just as easy happen to the Walkman button so you end up walking about with your music on loudspeaker in your pocket and don't realise until you come to quiet spot. Can be a tad embarassing as well depending on the track haha!
Overall though I won't really knock this phone too much. Its not trying too hard like some phones and although phones have come a long way since I have been relatively happy with this mobile phone. I am about to change this phone now but I think i'll stick with the Sony Ericsson offerings as the walkman series has continued and I am sure they have improved significantly.
