Sony Ericsson W350i Reviews

Music lovers will love the W350i from Sony Ericsson, transfer tracks direct from CD to the phone with its drag and drop software, furthermore its TrackID feature enables you to record a few seconds of a track wherever you are and have the song sent to you. In addition to this a 1.3 megapixel camera, Java games, Internet access, all come together to make an excellent choice from Sony Ericsson.

a good all round buy considering how cheap
A smart-looking and elegantly designed mobile which is light, compact and unobtrusive. It has the standard features, music/video playback, download manager, triband, wap and camera(1.3 MP)-such a shame that it lacks video capture as there is a perfectly good video/music editor that could be put to better use.
Still the sleek design(*worthy note:the flip-open case is far sturdier than other similar designs out there-which is a bonus!) and outer shell colour contrast of black and coppery orange coupled with the extremely user-friendly interface makes this a good all round buy considering how cheaply this can be picked up for.
lacks anything special but perfect buy for people on a budget
This phone is cheap, affordable, does what you need, it lacks anything special but perfect buy for people on a budget. I believe that the cover panel of the phone is a waste of time. After a month it will have broken off and you will be left with a broken looking phone but with no less features, this problem should be looked at by the manufacturer.
looks smart but the flip is too flimsy and snapped off
I bought a W350i for my granddaughter. It looks smart but the flip is too flimsy and snapped off after about 6 months use. Provider wanted £44 to repair the phone, I bought it from them for £49!.
much stronger than it looks
The plastic cover looks very flimsy at first glance, but having dropped mine several times, it is much stronger than it looks. The other thing is you dont have to open it to play music and you sometimes set it off in your pocket, but overall a very good easy phone to use

I have lost the front flap
Overall I thought this phone was good, however after having it a few months I now disagree. I have lost the front flap, now making it impossible to lock my phone, the phone itself freezes frequently and the features included are very basic. If you are simply looking for an MP3 player I would reccomend this phone but otherwise I wouldnt.
play all of your music without actually having your phone open
This phone is a good phone but sometimes it crashes and also goes slow. I love the slim style of the phone and also the light wieght it has. I like the way you can also play all of your music without actually having your phone open. I would recommend this phone to others.
I think Sony Ericsson are great but wouldnt recommend this handset
A very stylish phone, and very nice to look at, however, given the price of this particular model there are many other better options within the Sony Ericsson range.
The MP3 player is good, but other than that, the features are not very good. The camera is poor and the picture on the screen is also quite poor. Also the front flap, whilst looking snazzy, is very flimsy and tends to break quite easily.
All in all, I think Sony Ericsson are great anyway, but personally I wouldn't recommend this particular model.

found it to be a very basic phone for the money I paid
I got this phone as I have always had Sony mobile phones. I found it to be a very basic phone for the money I paid.
It is still a good phone with all you need for a basic phone and the camera is really good. However this phone is not for a person that likes a great camera and good internet access, its a music phone and I found that it is more an mp3 player than a phone.
I was slightly dissapointed after having a cyber shot and then going to that. The coating on the outside of the phone also peels off and leaves you with shiny paintend patches, it would make a great phone for a person that is only using the the call and text features and is just wanting a good looking slimline phone that is not bothered about the internet and camera, then its perfect.
good phone but the camera is not very good as it is only 1.3 Megapixel
The W350i is a good phone but the camera is not very good as it is only 1.3 Megapixel. It also doesn't record videos which is annoying! The flappy down bit on the front is stupid. Although it does have Track ID which is useful and free on O2. If I had the same choice of mobile phones again I don't think I would buy W350i again.
great phone for music lovers out there
This is a great phone for music lovers out there. The dedicated music buttons are great, and making your phone more like and phone & iPod. The Camera's good to, although it has no video which was a real bummer! Other features include TrackID, Bluetooth, Java Games and USB connectivity.

great phone simply let down by cheap materials
This is a great phone simply let down by cheap materials (all my friends have lost the flap) and it does not have a video camera which these days is a huge let down. The phone is easy to use with texting and other key features, and for a slim phone the speaker quality for music is exellent. All in all a great phone let down by simple mistakes and cheap design.
Lovely looking phone, looks more expensive than it is
Lovely looking phone, looks more expensive than it is. Easy to use with the ability to lock the keys,
includes excellent features including, mp3 player, calculator, calender and task facility. Fits easily into your pocket and is extremely lightweight.
W350i is a nifty little mobile
The Sony Ericsson W350i is a nifty little mobile, the overall design is slick and compact and the features are great for a mobile of this price range. One design aspect that I will comment on though is the button above the keypad... after just a weeks use the silver paint started to come off due to general wear just from playing a game a couple of times, overall though, a user-friendly mobile phone.
