Design Features Usabilityadequate phone for a light user, excellent MP3 player
Well this is yet another one purchased, tried, and now has been relegated as a spare. Originally I got this because my wife wanted a fully loaded flip phone and I must say that at the time it fitted the bill perfectly.
It is small, compact, and very reliable. Personally I found it a tad fiddly with small buttons but it fits perfectly in a pocket or handbag or put a lanyard on it and can be worn easily around your neck.
Obviously the downside is that with a small phone comes a small screen but it has a brilliant MP3 capability, but poor quality camera.
All in all I would suggest that this is an adequate phone for a light user. The usual Sony Ericsson menu means it is easy and a pleasure to operate. I notice that the second hand value is very poor which obviously means that if you want one you can pick up a real bargain.

I have had my Sony Ericsson W300i for over a year now and it still works well. It has almost all of the features that I want, including Bluetooth, Camera, Walkman and lots of memory. It can also be plugged into a computer which is great for transferring songs and games.
Sadly the camera is not of great quality, but I have not had any major issues except when I first bought it and thought it had broken when I could not get the back off, but it is meant to be like that, and the back does come off, turns out I had not pushed the battery in properly.
To sum up, this phone is a good phone for someone who hasn't got hundreds of pounds to spend but still wants a good quality phone with lots of good features.

The W300i is an excellent phone if you want the basics. But the camera and mp3 player are poor, the camera is blurry and not clear at all, same goes for the video on it. The mp3 player is very quiet and the headphones supplied are uncomfortable and break after a couple of months. Basically this is a no thrills phone.

The Sony Ericsson W300i, a compact, funky design mobile. Easy to use, lots of functions, Walkman, Radio etc. Being technology phobic and after having all the info explained by my 11 year old daughter I found this mobile to be exactly what I was looking for! Straightforward, easy and does the job! What more can you ask for?

Quite a good phone but it is quite large. The features on the W300i are quite good but could be better.
You can find another phone the same price which is more likely going to be better.
I have had this phone for 2 years now and it HASN'T BROKE YET.
Although my other friend with same phone, the screen went white and had to be fixed which was about 50 pound.
