overall its good and great value for money
The phone looks attractive and sleek in design but it does not have enough wow factor in my opinion.
It's a pratical phone to use every day and is hardwearing. It has some good features and the music player is average in sound, it could have been improved if they made the design sleeker and added a higher megalpixel camera, but overall its good and great value for money.
good for people that enjoy listening to music and the radio
Not the best phone I've ever had, I spend more time using my boyfriends Nokia N95, now that is a good phone.
Now back to my Sony Ericsson W200i, I would say that its good for people that enjoy listening to music and the radio. Picture quality on photos is poor, as is the internet access.
One of the features I did enjoy when I first had the phone was the facemorf and most young people that have seen this feature on my phone seem to enjoy it, I would say that this phone is aimed at a young teenager.
good phone for its low price tag
This is a good phone for its low price tag, it is pretty much a bog standard Ericsson but it is cheap and has everything you would expect from a more expensive handset. Only downsides are picture quality and it has infared instead of bluetooth and feels very plasticy.
It's great fun with the extras, like face warp on pictures
Fantastic usability, great looking, sturdy. I have dropped mine numerous times and yet still it works perfectly. It's great fun with the extras, like face warp on pictures etc. Will hang on to mine for as long as possible then pass on to someone else. Very pleased.
if you are looking for something on a budget this is ideal
Great value for the money paid but it is not a feature packed phone, if you are looking for something on a budget this is ideal. It has WAP capabilities, infrared, picture messaging and expandable memory.
I would have liked this phone to have bluetooth at the least but as I said you get what you pay for. The design is not bad, definitely one for the girls.
I had to purchase a new phone as my other was stolen from my handbag - thank you thieves, I was on a tight budget but it does all I need it for.
A fair mobile phone but question its durability long term
This phone is pretty self explanatory but I found that eighteen months on I am now having some problems with the phone, the downwards movement on the circle navigation doesn't work and the top select button also doesn't work.
But even with these faults I am still able to use the phone quiet well. So I still feel that it is a fair phone.
Budget mobile, great for the basics, Walkman is a plus
For the price, it can't be beaten if you just want to make calls and text plus the Walkman is a great bonus. I bought the my W200i when my existing contract phone broke, I wanted a cheaper alternative on pay as you go, as I was not taking full advantage of the contract.
It feels quite cheap and plastic
The Sony Ericsson W200i is of good quality for day to day use such as calling and sending and receiving messages.
The design of the phone looks good from a distance but once you feel the quality it feels quite cheap and plastic. There is also no bluetooth available, only infrared which is not really any use and is a nightmare to use and the other factilities on there are quite basic also
I love my Ericsson W200i
I love my Ericsson W200i which I purchased in October 2007, I made this purchase as it is not very expensive but it has all of the basics such as a FM radio and an MP3 player. Along with a camera which has ok quality but for £40 you could not expect any better quality and has the option for video recording.
A good all rounder in my book
I bought the W200i, mainly because it was cheap but also because it had a built in mp3 player and a camera which i was quite impressed about seeing as the price was under £40 (the phone was also pink, and I,m female, so that added bonus points!)
When I got the phone home I found that it was easy to use, all of the applications worked well and even after I had put a few pictures and all of my contacts on to the phone it didnt slow it down, which sometimes you can find.
There is room to put in a memory card if need be, but for me the phone does what its supposed to do, with some added extras for the cheap price tag, and is also easy on the eye!
A good all rounder in my book!
Easy to use and learn - great first time phone
I like my Sony Ericsson W200i phone.
It's small enough. Takes photos and videos and allows me to phone any network.
It is easy to carry because of it's size and it looks nice and modern.
I have not had any problems with it at all.
It's also easy to use and easy to learn how to use if your a first time buyer.
