wish I had chosen the iphone instead.

Do yourself a favour and don't go near this phone.

Have had it for a few months now and have experienced some of the problems mentioned by others, i.e. freezing, randomly losing signal and very slow, especially when powering up.

Also, not much fun when browsing the internet on this phone, very slow and connection times out alot.

The other day my phone completly froze, tried the old trick of removing the batery, however that failed to work, had to resort to reloading the firm ware on the phone.

Unfortunately i'm on an 18 month contract, wish I had chosen the iphone instead.

its freezing all the time especially when I finish a phone call

I've had my Satio since October and at first it was great. Now its freezing all the time especially when I finish a phone call. I know the phone is on as my camera lights up but the screen stays black and no matter what I do the only option is to turn it off and turn it back on again! Love the phone but this problem is happening more and more often and its driving me mad!

the day after my partners Satio arrived his started to crash occasionally

When I first got my Satio I thought it was fantastic, great camera etc, within 5 days my partner decided he wanted one too. But the day after my partners Satio arrived his started to crash occasionally (I thought he was just expecting it to do everything at once or something).

Now 3 weeks later mine is crashing too, I'll be watching a bbc iplayer and get a call and it just stops and wont do anything! I'll try to go into music or something from the menu and most of the time it'll do it but sometimes it just gives up.

Such a shame because otherwise I think its a good phone. Like a lot of the other reviews, I blame the operating system.

The main problems seem to be with the management system

When I first got my satio I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. That view has changed in the first 3 months that I have had it! I'm on my third one at the moment and it has not been any better for me than the previous two!

The main problems seem to be with the management system that the phone has, its unresponsive, awkward and frustrating.

I so much wanted the phone to deliver and for a good while I was willing to put up with its irrational behaviour for the sake of allowing it to prove me wrong but in the end its only proved that Sony Ericsson should never of allowed it to hit the market when there was so many teathing problems.

The main selling point (the 12.1 megapixel camera) was great at the start and now its terrible, the 8gb memory card wont register and the lock switch on the side has to be toggled a few times before the phone will accept that it has to come out of hibernation, thats just the basics!!!!

Its a terrible phone and it makes me sad that I have to say that but do yourself a favour and dont go anywhere near it!

The camera takes great photos but the process is very slow

I have had this mobile on 3 for 2 months now and have used most of it's functions. The screen is easy to see and use but it is not the lovely scroll screen that was advertised on TV. The camera takes great photos but the process is very slow and can regularly 'miss' the moment. I have had only 2 occassions with the screen starting to 'freeze' but it corrects itself within 5 seconds.

Main problem is the screen freeze

Have always had Sony Ericsson phones and thought this would be the best yet! How disappointed am I!
Main problem is the screen freeze as reported by many other users and the only way to get it back up and running is to remove the battery and re-insert.

On my phone it freezes in more than one application; calling, taking pictures (most anoying), touch screen menu.
The other morning the alarm went off and it wasn't even set. It seems to have a mind of its own some times.

I do like the design and the camera is amazing!

I've had the same issues as everyone else, my phone is constantly freezing (especially when making or picking up phone calls) and the internet connection is poor in comparison to other phones.

There is one thing that keeps happening to my phone and that's that there is a strange almost grease-like stain in the lcd screen (it started off completely covering the screen making the contrast of the screen very dark but now it seems to have cleared up slightly but I still have little splodges. I have tried leaving it in a dark cool space (as advised) but they still appear. Has anyone else had this issue?

However, I do like the design and the camera is amazing! plus it has the standard Sony layout, so it is easy to move around the phone but I am still questioning whether it was a good idea to get this phone as even the most simplest of things (e.g. making a phone call) seems to be asking to much from this phone.

keeps on freezing when I watch video's or when I try to pick up a call

My problem is mostly to do with my internet, it keeps timing out on me. Also my problems dont stop there, it keeps on freezing when I watch video's or when I try to pick up a call. Now on third phone in 8 days, screen keeps freezing and only way to restart is take the battery out then replace it.

Camera is excellent, even better than my Canon digital camera.

Camera is excellent, even better than my Canon digital camera. The touchscreen is good, they always say iPhone is the best for touchscreen but I disagree, it can do what the iPhone can do. I can store 15000 songs in my satio phone. If you want a decent camera, widescreen, listen to music and amongst many other things then I definitely recommend this phone.

Constant freezing resulted in me updating software

Had my Satio since Xmas. Constant freezing resulted in me updating software, but the phone locked, not responding to anything. After 1 week the battery was totally dead, the phone seemed to recover when charging. I restored the content from backup, but within an hour it had lost menus from the screen. I restarted it to get the menus back, then went through the full firmware install/restore process again. It worked first time this time around, so now just have to wait to see if it falls over again.

Unreliability is the biggest issue for me, and no firmware updates since I got the phone in December. My high scores reflect what I've seen when the phone has been working but overall I need a reliable phone, which at the moment I'll wait a little longer for.

Only good thing is the camera and video

I've had my phone now since beginning of December and it constantly freezes, sends blank texts to the last person I sent a text to and calls last person who called me.

Now on my 2nd handset and the features are awful!! If I want to store a mobile number, house number, email address and assign a ringtone for each individual I can't. It will only store 1 number per person, I'm very very disappointed in it.

Only good thing is the camera and video, absolutely excellent quality!!

I'm now awaiting a 3rd replacement of the Saito but not sure I really want it anymore. Because it froze I couldn't retrieve any of my data on it so I was not at all amused.

The functions are good but not fantastic

This phone looks good but thats it's best feature. Satio has many problems and im guessing it's because mobile phones are using more complex software. The functions are good but not fantastic.

Accessing the features software is slow aswell as starting and shutting down the phone. It records sound but its very poor quality. Sony Ericsson needs to rely on its own software development if they really want to score points in the market.

This phone relys on software that was specifically designed for other manufacturers. The technology is not the problem, its the software. Also these smart phones dont need the intelligence to multitask programs, it slows down the memory and processor. Satio still offers a full tune up. Overall its a true smart phone. Just needs more options, like a system restore.

made it react quicker but did not stop the freezing

Got the phone 6 Jan 2010, already froze 6 times, tried reverting back to factory Settings, made no difference. Freezes mosly when someone calls me or when I use bluetooth.

Touch screen is not user friendly either, sometime you have to double click sometimes you dont have to, other times you have to press really hard two three times before it reacts, scrolling is also slow and painfull compared to the iPhone.

I'm gonna take mine back asap. I have installed the latest update for it, it made it react quicker but did not stop the freezing.

phone freezes and you have to remove battery

Had my Satio 2 months now, nothing but problems, phone freezes and you have to remove battery to get it back on. Switches off when someone calls, vibrates of its own accord, this is my second Satio handset and its worse than the first.

Phone was delayed for release, so I assumed Sony would have ironed out any problems but obviously they didnt, whats happened to you Sony? always had Sony handsets but will think twice before I buy another.

its software is really slow and slow

I have had my Satio for 2 days. I bought it and I switched it on and left for the first charge maybe for 18 hours and then I unplugged it and started discovering my new mobile, but within 5 hours (except watching anything, connecting internet or listening so much music) the battery run out, and its software is really slow and slow. It must be really embarrassing for Sony.

lack of volume on playback and when recording in video mode

I've only had this phone for about a week on an upgrade from a Nokia N95. It is the latest model (so say's man from carphone warehouse) but the first thing I've noticed is the lack of volume on playback and when recording in video mode the inbuilt microphone seem's a bit naff. I couldn't hear my voice even speaking a few inches away. Don't know if this can be altered or its a physical prob with mic and speaker.

GPS has stopped working, the phone vibrates for no reason

I'm on my second Satio. First Satio was a joke so was returned to CPW. After a week of using it all of a sudden it has started palying up.

GPS has stopped working, the phone vibrates for no reason, crashes twice a day and the file transfers are pathetic. This is even after the updated version and new software update.

Some flag ship phone I must say, I use my laptop more now before I had my Satio as I am now getting "Packet Data: Network Busy" & "Internet: Could not perform action"

Phone related or O2 who know's I give up. Will put this phone in the skip on my way into work in the morning. I would call the SE help desk but didn't get a great deal of assistance last time I called so pointless.

suddenly worked but since keeps freezing up

Had Satio since end october, have had issues re freezing, battery pull, no internet connection most of the time. Have to turn phone off and on to work but yesterday it just froze nothing could be done, then suddenly worked but since keeps freezing up.

Also had many missed calls as phone doesn't ring sometimes. Nice looking phone but very poor performance and usability. Most applications are for show only, def not a good value for money. Have to contact Orange again.

pretty good phone but the problems I've had are outrageous

Very excited when I got the Satio, but now very . I have had the Satio for 4weeks, pretty good phone but the problems I've had are outrageous, 3rd day of having the phone it crashed, I could not do anything. I had to take the battery out and start the phone up.

Day 6 returned phone to the store advised of problem, I was given a new phone straight away, days later the same problem but worse, having to reboot the phone at least 3 times a day.

Satio not always ringing, missing loads of calls also making a loud engage tone when I have not even used the phone or put it on loud speaker. I am now unable to upload any pictures onto mycomputer, as when I plug in the usb lead the Satio does not recognise anything. What a joke very frustrating.

if it worked properly then I would love it

Have had the Satio less than a week and if it worked properly then I would love it. Sadly it doesnt and I've had 3 days wondering why I have had so many missed calls. Then the penny suddenly dropped, I've missed them because the phone didnt ring.

So battery off, back to normal and alls well for the first couple of calls until I spot the ringing signal but can hear no sound. I try to answer the call but I cant hear anyone and no one can hear me, did it even connect?

Battery fix again and alls well again but how many battery fixes can a person do in one day because its not just the ringing problem, its battery off every time it freezes, and it freezes lots!

Definitely a problem and it worries me how hot the handset gets when being used. Lets see how the replacement will fare with what I am told has a software fix, fingers crossed.

at the moment the cons outnumber the pros

How many phones will I get through in 24 months, have had this phone for nearly one month now and have already had it replaced. After one week my phone had crashed 12 times, it wasnt from anything specific, one time it crashed in my pocket, another time I read a text and closed it down and another time simply in the car.

Like I said I have replaced it before and my second replacement is still crashing, I'm not doing too much at once and it just doesnt seem able to handle not crashing, more annoyingly is the fact that when it crashes I have to take the back off and take the battery out because I cant turn the phone off by the button.

The first time I took the phone back the retailers suggested doing a system update but when I did it on a mac it wasnt compatible and wouldn't work.

The camera for me is great, I go to a lot of gigs and dont get too close to the crowds so standing at a distance the camera and video quality is great. Although the quality is great I have had times where I have tried to watch back the video and a message that the file is unavailable would keep appearing until I turn the phone off and back on again.

This phone has its pros and cons but at the moment the cons outnumber the pros and the fact I've got a 24 month contract is making me wonder how many of these phones I will acquire.

bragged about getting the phone to my iPhone friends

I spent months looking at this phone and comparing it with the others on the market, how disappointing.

My phone is worse than an old pc with windows 98!
It freezes at least once a day, its embarrassing to have to remove the battery especially as I bragged about getting the phone to my iPhone friends.

I have spoken to my service provider 3, who will not exchange it and offered me another phone, did I mention it took me 6 months to decide I wanted this phone.

I would not recommend any one purchase this phone, it is now a known problem so you will be entering into an 18m contract headache. I am off to the 3 store tomorrow to read them my rights.

check with the sales person that the phone is from a new batch

Although the Satio boasts an unbelivable 12.1 mp cybershot camera and is full of useful applications and walkman etc.

The problem is that it does have a few major faults which have resulted in some shops including Phones4u removing it from sale, the faults include the phone randomly losing signal, randomly turning itself off, the speaker losing its volume.

I'm sure that Sony Ericsson will resolve these issues with a software update but if you are looking to buy this phone I'd check with the sales person that the phone is from a new batch.

I want to love this phone, but instead finding it frustrating

I have not had freezing problems (yet) but, although they say its compatible with the Mac, the plug in doesn't work, the picture loading is out of the ark, its just poor really. Sony should know better.

My old Nokia was a case of plug it in, iphoto opens and does it for you. Just noticed someone with a PC also having compatibility problems, wonder if Sony works well with Linux and were all missing the point or something.

Geotagging doesn't work, big disappointment when iphoto works so well with it.

My partner has a 6mpx Minolta DSLR camera, quite old now but still up to the job. This phone is 12pmx. If evidence were ever needed that all the quality is in the lense, this phone proves it. With Sony buying Minolta, and having always had such good experience with them, I expected them to get the camera better.

Battery life is shameful, especially when you think it's a walkman phone, if the battery is gone after your walk into or out of work, its not much good for making calls really.

Call making and texting doesn't seem intuitive. In many ways I think this phone is 95% brilliant, but the 5% its lacking is the biggest part of the equation. I want to love this phone, but instead finding it frustrating.

My Satio is at the moment in need of a software fix, its constantly crashing and freezing and I cant stand the slow start up when switching it on. What annoys me is I have zero applications as it was advertised on Sony's satio website, shows Facebook Twitter, Bebo and Youtube, I have none. I have always had Sony Ericssons and it might be time for a change if the problem persists.

Wow, Cant believe this. Satio ordered tonight and was scouring the net for some reviews to realise that it has been pulled from the shelf. Mine is supposed to be getting delivered tomorrow so I await to see if delivery goes through.

Mind you I bought mine direct from Vodafone but I'm certainly not hoping to spend my Friday night sitting in testing a phone like mad to see if I get the problems listed.

phone went so warm it was like holding a cup of hot tea

What a nightmare from day one. The phone freezes in the middle of a call and the phone went so warm it was like holding a cup of hot tea. It keeps turning itself off, the screen rotation is very slow, the video sound is very quiet (yes I had it on max), the ringtones and message alert tones are very quiet I've had so many missed calls and messages even after putting my own ones on.

The time keeps adjusting itself during the night, god knows why, I'm on my 2nd Satio, the bad things totally out do the good things, I could continue listing the bad points on this phone all night like the receiver volume keeps going quiet when your having a conversation but I'm not, I'm away to talk Vodafone and play hell and get a proper phone.

uninstalling these programmes and resetting, no more screen freezing

I am very pleased with my Satio, I am very familiar with touchscreen phones. The Satio touchscreen is much better than the Samsung Ominia and almost similar to the iPhone in sensitivity, best mobile phone camera so far.

Freezing problems started after installing new software such as Opera10 and mobile shell, but after uninstalling these programmes and resetting the phone no more screen freezing.

Still having problems with the ringer and on its own change of profiles. I am very disappointed with Sony Ericsson support, I sent them an email as directed in their web site and they did not bother to answer my query.

Freezing issue as same as others

Freezing issue as same as others, it will happen randomly when using camera, random application use more often on its out of the box internet browser.

Satio is very good to be used in landscape mode, but the rotation detection is too sensitive and screen rotation is very slow.

Landscape full qwerty keyboard is nice, but sometimes the UI will force you to use the tiny qwerty one which is not that good.

the other end answers and can hear me but my end is dead

ok here's an update on my previous review. I make a call and the person on the other end answers and can hear me but my end is dead. Bought a leather protective case for it and when the phone rings the screen is black and I can't answer, slide it out of the case and the screen comes up, slide it back in and it goes black again.

Sometimes even the ringtone changes by itself or it won't ring but only vibrates. Just tried ringing it from my work phone out of the case, with vibrate off and the screen comes on with incoming call and does not ring. Doesnt look like it does it!

I'm still waiting for a software update

Stats sounded great. Packaged well. I wanted the best camera I could get and so long as the phone works for calls and texts I didn't care about the rest of the features.

In the right light the camera is a cracker but once the flash kicks in it ruins the images with a glare looming large on the left of every photo.

Texting is excellent - touch screen qwerty keyboard works well.

Calls are clear but only when you receive them. Try making an outgoing call on this thing and you'll wish you never bought it. Push this button, press that button, do a twirl, stand on your head, run through the alphabet backwards, a quick bit of algebra and you might just get to the point of making a call - that is unless you get through to an electronic exchange - press 1 to get through to someone - urmmm...where have the number buttons gone? If you've got one you will understand.

The 60 free movies from Play sounds like a good idea until you try downloading them. An hour to the laptop and then it took an hour before the usually reliable laptop informed me that the phone was now bored and had gone to sleep.

Great concept poorly executed. oh...and I'm still waiting for a software update.

You cannot hear and cannot be heard

Ringtone turns off suddenly, no sound when answering the call, now on my 2nd Satio. Same problem happened with my 2nd Satio. I try to send it back to Sony Ericsson but I was told no problem with the phone and refused to replace the phone for me, so disappointed.

No ringtone but only vibrate (even the ringtone is set as on) on incoming call. Though it vibrates indicating there is an incoming call, there is no sound (hear NOTHING) when answering the call. You cannot hear and cannot be heard. It happened at least twice a day and will need to turn off the power and restart. It's a waste of time and totally unacceptable.

I have had 4 Satios

I have had 4 Satios, all from 3 Mobile all with the same common faults. Screen freezing after ending phone calls, ending pretty much any application, resulting in a battery take pull. Not good, now after 4 phones 3 Mobile are insisting that they repair this phone and not give me a replacement. I think its very bad for a new phone at that cost. I too have noticed the sound issues turning off and on at random.

So far I haven't had too many problems, watch this space

This is the first touchphone I have had and I have recently had problems using a soundclip as a ringtone. Sometimes it will ring, sometimes not at all and when it does it is very quiet. I have to take out the battery and replace it to make it work again.

Now I'm just using one of the phone's own ringtones. I charge it every night but maybe thats because I spend too much time checking out the functions. I have downloaded a film to my laptop which was 1hour 54 mins long and transfered it to the phone which I must say the quality was superb and I didn't even have it plugged into the mains.

So far I haven't had too many problems but I've only had it a couple of weeks so watch this space.

was very impressed with the look, the camera and the features it boasted

My partner got a Satio as an upgrade from Carphone Warehouse. Initially we were very impressed with the look, the camera and the features it boasted.

Unfortunately the reality is that it is very slow and freezes regularly. Even the camera isn't particularly fast.

I have an iPhone 3GS and the Satio isn't even in the same ball park. I suspect the Satio will be sold off and the funds put towards a second iPhone. Pity we had to sign a 24 month contract for the Satio.

so far I am pleased with this phone

So far my phone has been fine, it freezes a little bit through applications but only for a few seconds. I've only just got my Satio handset after previously sending back 2 faulty W995's, so far I am pleased with this phone.

I've watched 3 movies which I downloaded, my battery is still half full, the only little problem is it does slightly freeze when unlocking it after its on stand by but it quickly unfreezes itself. I hope I dont have any further problems with this handset, its only 3 days old so fingers crossed.

there is another way to restart the phone

Just to inform you guys there is another way to restart the phone without having to take the battery out. Just hold the power button for at least 20 seconds, it'll power off like a computer, same concept. Trust me, I do that 7-8 times a day cause of the freezing issues.

so no returns and it is not a cheap phone

Keeps freezing and battery has to be removed to get it to work again. I bought mine SIM free, so no returns and it is not a cheap phone. This is a wide spread problem and no sign of it being fixed. Get a grip Sony and sort it

keeps freezing if you are too quick for it

It's a great phone, but keeps freezing if you are too quick for it, when swapping between functions. Also it seems to go into a silent mode, especially if not used for a while. You dont know it's in silent, then when it vibrates (doesn't ring obvioulsy) and you answer, no sound, you cant be heard or hear. You go ito profile, check the volume and all ok, then it freeeze's again.

You cant even switch on or off then, only taking the battery out and starting again .

must send out new software as soon as possible

No graphic icons when writing SMS - MMS messages. Too bad Sony Ericsson. Its not possible to transfer the entire phonebook via bluetooth from my SE C702.
Cannot get push email to work properly. I think this phone is sent on the market, before software is ready for this. SE must send out new software as soon as possible.

within minutes of using it, it froze

I'm so disappointed with Satio! I'm beginning to regret signing up to a contract with it. I was so excited when I got it but within minutes of using it, it froze and the only way to reboot it is to take the battery out. I'm not happy, as this has happened so many times, the sound quality is pretty poor too.

expected it to have better software

Well, bought this phone because of the camera mainly, but I expected it to have better software. I dont have the problems you have. My problem is that my main menu gets glitched turning black. No problem (yet) with the ringtones and that stuff, although it does freezes from time to time.

We cant all be just unlucky!

Going back today for Satio number 4, if I carry on like this I will get a new phone every week. Surely this shouldnt be happening with a Sony, everyone is having the same problem with the handset freezing and doing other bizarre things. We cant all be just unlucky! when I take this back again today I bet they tell me they have not noticed any problems, they must be told to say that.

after reading the reviews here, it is clearly a widespread fault

I like the look, if the phone ran smoothly it would be great, but I'm on my third as the previous two have continually crashed, and this one is already showing the same signs.

The shop are less then helpful, and I regret signing up for a 24 months contract with this. They also tell me no one else has brought there's back, so it must be a flaw with the couple of phones I have had, but after reading the reviews here, it is clearly a widespread fault.

The camera is great, and thats what I really wanted, but I would at least expect the phone to operate and not crash constantly.

forgot they were making a phone and focused on the camera

I have waited a long time for Sony Ericsson to release a great phone, sadly this isn't it. I'm generally disapointed with this handset. It keeps freezing, its very slow when its not frozen, has a lot of silly useless features.

The camera is great, it seems that Sony Ericsson forgot they were making a phone and focused on the camera. Luckily my Satio is on upgrade so I will return it within my 7 days and get the LG Viewty Smart.

started freezing and the ringtones turns off suddenly

Had my phone 2 weeks ago and after few days the phone started freezing and the ringtones turns off suddenly so I have lots of missed calls. Sent it back to be checked but they returned it to me saying its working fine. I hate that mobile and I'm stuck with 2 years contract now with Orange.

software crashed several times with few hours of use

Had problems with my Satio from the moment I received it. Would not alert for text messages software crashed several times with few hours of use. Had handset replaced 3 times to no avail before finally giving up and sending back.

Would I recommend this phone? No not a chance - interface is clunky - symbian OS is rubbish. All in all terrible handset shame really as was quite excited about the release of Sony Ericsson's flag ship handset.

only way to restart is take the battery out

Now on third phone in 8 days, screen keeps freezing and only way to restart is take the battery out then replace it. Then you have to start re setting all your required settings, media files would not download from sim on first phone. Second phone froze, took battery out and it would not turn on all in all.

Now on my 5th handset

Now on my 5th handset of the Sony Ericsson Satio since buying it two weeks ago, all have had the same problem. The phone will not ring with any sort of volume despite being set to do so and if by chance I feel the phone vibrating a call cannot be answered anyway, making this phone completely pointless.

The handset also crashes at least 3 times a day, going back tommorrow to hopefully get a reliable Nokia because clearly this phone is not worth the hassle!!

urgently requires acknowledgement and a fix

Now on my second Satio and the ringer and sound from media player still switch off randomly resulting in dropped calls. Microphone recording level is abysmally low and recording playback at full volume is barely audible.

Sony Ericsson and Vodafone say they haven't logged many complaints about this - but with 2 phones failing immediately, there is obviously an early software / design glitch with this model (at least versions with Vodafone software) which urgently requires acknowledgement and a fix.

purchased this product having read features and looked impressive

New to touch phones, purchased this product having read features and looked impressive, but like previous reviewer, ringer decides when it wants to work. Screen jams and had to remove battery to restart.

Haven't really used the many features as battery life is abysmal, phone seems to be always on charge but was told this is normal for a phone of this spec(iPhone/N97). How can Sony Ericsson say talktime is 4hrs50mins/standby 340hours when there is no chance this phone will achieve this or is it just my handset/battery?

unable to watch some clips as I'm told my flash is not up to date

I was very excited with this phone at first but soon became frustrated with the picture quality while trying to watch videos on youtube, then there's the issues with the useless Go media which does not want to transfer videos from phone to libary, also while in media on phone sometimes it will not play videos previously taken?

I am unable to drag and drop music or videos onto card or go media app? when on the web i.e facebook im unable to watch some clips as I'm told my flash is not up to date, then there's the fact I can't play poker on zynga facebook like the iPhone can. Then there's the lack of applications and games available why is this.

Overall I'm starting to regret my decision to purchase this, the only thing it has going for it is a camera!

Sony Ericsson assure me that I must have a faulty product

Let me point out that my Satio reveals faults from the start. The ringer periodically fails and videos seem to record in very low volume - as a result playback is barely audible on full volume. Hoping that this is just a one-off.

Software is a bit clunky but apart from that the phone is pleasant to use and at the moment has very few rivals - if you want a good camera on board.

Annoying Issues: Screen difficult to view outside. Lack of audio controls and 3.5mm jack are conspicuous. Could do with mapping application like Nokia Maps - Google is a little basic and imprecise. Instructions are minimalistic in the extreme and shiny plastic shows finger marks. Photos with flash are often washed out.

Overall: Apart from this list of deficits, the Satio is a pleasant package which is good on the web and has many vital features. Sony Ericsson assure me that I must have a faulty product since the symtoms described have not (they say) been widely reported. Time will tell!
