very annoying when using on speakerphone
Although the phone is quite easy to use it has flaws with a very weak speaker that fades in and out and is very annoying when using on speakerphone. The battery life is also much shorter than I was led to believe in the description. Overall though the phone functions reasonably well and most the features are easily obtainable.
pictures are sometimes quite blurry, also the video camera is not that good
I think this phone is very easy to use, but the camera is quite difficult and the pictures are sometimes quite blurry, also the video camera is not that good, other than that the rest of the phone is very good quality, had mine for 4 months and never had any problems.
very good camera which is one of my main priorities
Easy to use robust phone, very good camera which is one of my main priorities. Good memory storage on the phone enabling me to store quite a lot of music tracks, photos and videos. Quite slim and the keypad is easy to use. It is also capable of video calling with a very discreet camera at the front of the phone. Overall the phone is compact and user friendly.
candy bar design is not very chic, but it serves its purpose
This phone is very well designed and I love the user interface. It is not as fancy as some of the new phones and the candy bar design is not very chic, but it serves its purpose and in my opinion practicality always outweighs fashion.
This is a great phone like all Sony Ericsson's but if I had the choice today I would now choose one of the newer phones with the improved features.
is my 4th Sony Ericsson and yet again I love it
I find all Sony Ericsson phones are great, none of them have ever let me down yet. This is my 4th and yet again I love it.
I have it in the purple colour and it is so pretty, the brown one is also nice. Simple and fast to use with a great camera, yet to have any problems and it its 4 months old.
Holds loads of data on the phone and also comes with a memory card, would defo recommend.
fairly basic, but easy to use and functional, stylish too
Good phone for practical use, fairly basic, but easy to use and functional. Quite a nice size. Only concern I have had is the wear of the paintwork. Otherwise I have been really happy with my phone. Have had no other problems, its been reliable and quite stylish too.
phone looks great, and is a pleasure to use
This is a great phone and if I lost or broke mine tomorrow I wouldn't even consider any other models before buying another K770i to replace it. I originally chose it as I have slight dexterity problems and the keys looked large enough for me to use without any trouble, and I haven't been disappointed.
It's very easy to use, not at all fiddly, and the thin handset fits very nicely into a pocket without feeling bulky. Picture and sound quality are both high and I've been very happy with all the features.
I'm not bothered about having the newest and best features around so don't have much idea how the K770i compares to other handsets out there in that respect.
I can only say that it's more than good enough for me. The only thing I'd change is that the shiny coating on the number keys doesn't last long. I've had mine about 8 months and there's a lot of white plastic showing already, and I'm a pretty careful user. Other than that the phone looks great, and is a pleasure to use.
perfectly good, lightweight, affordable 3.2 megapixel mobile phone
It's pretty cool, the colour is beautiful and the features work well. The only gripe is like a lot of Sony Ericssons the signal isn't great (network?). Oh and the shortcut key annoys me. But it's a perfectly good, lightweight, affordable 3.2 megapixel phone. The buttons are smooth, the design is sweet, just needs a bit more memory.
Wasnt sure what to expect, but very happy
I hadn't seen the phone or held it before purchasing so wasn't really sure what to be expect.
I was pretty pleased however with what I got, the phone only cost me £15.00 on a new 18 month contract (renewal) with Vodafone - after bargaining for a while on the phone I managed to get it for that price on a £25 per month contract, (phone is normally £100 on that).
The camera is pretty reasonable, but prints are a bit pixelated past 6"x4" so not the best there is. Sound quality is great and the unlimited music download program that comes with the phone (£1.99 per week) was rather good too.
Not a bad phone all round. Can't really find any faults.
Camera quality is great, shutter speed could be improved though
The K770i has a very slim, sleek design which means it's comfortable to hold and fits neatly in your pocket.
The 3.2 megapixel cybershot camera is quite good quality for a camera phone. The camera itself doesn't have as many features as the previous model but is still a good quality camera. The only problem I have is that because the camera is so light, I find it difficult to hold the phone still enough to take a picture, thus resulting in blurred shots. Also the shutter speed is quite slow so you would have to adjust the settings to say 'burst' mode (which takes 4 pictures simultaniously) when capturing moving objects.
The menus are easy to use and it's easy to set up. On your first use you can use the setup wizard which goes through the basic setup e.g.setting time and date, wallpapers, ringtones etc. All in all I think this is a good all rounder.
Very good phone which has improved the flaws of it's predecessors
Stylish slim phone with an excellent camera and a decent amount of memory, just like the K800i but slimmer and lighter. Also it has done away with the toggle stick which was prone to malfunctioning after a while and replaced it with a different button system which is much better. Overall a very good phone which has improved the flaws of it's predecessors.
Overall an excellent camera phone
I have owned the K770i from Sony for 2 months so still getting used to it as I have always had Nokia's prior to this.
Phone fits in hand nicely and has all the features you would expect. Excellent battery life both standby and talk time. Excellent picture quality from a 3.2 mega pixel camera.
Centre joystick is a huge improvement on the previous model which my son owns and has proved problematic but not on this phone. Good size screen which is easy to see and read. Marked down as when on hands free you cannot hear everything through the hands free kit ie tones on dialing a number but this may be me not understanding its settings correctly.
Could also do with auto keypad lock after set time rather than having to remember to lock the keypad when putting it in your pocket as this can prove expensive should you go browsing or dial a number without knowing it.
Overall an excellent camera phone with very good features and the best battery life I have ever had from a mobile phone, well worth getting!
Its a fantastic mobile phone. Very good camera !!!!!!
A proper stunner of a phone.
