check out the spec and features of this phone before you decide
Amazing phone, the camera is fantastic and video is brilliant. Sleek design, I personally think at the moment this is one of the best phones out there, it does everything so to anyone who reads this go and check out the spec and features of this phone before you decide on any other model, I just love it
Durable and slim but not as lightweight as previous models
A very good mobile phone handset. Durable and slim but not as lightweight as previous models, this phone has many good features like the 5.0 megapixel camera with flash and the movement sensor games. When you buy with O2, you also receive a free James Bond game.
sylish looking mobile from Sony Ericsson that no longer has that brick feeling
A sylish looking mobile from Sony Ericsson that no longer has that brick feeling. The C902 has been slimmed down dramatically which gives it a lean mean look and feel.
Features on the phone are excellent, I particularly like the media button which shows a summary of all the media stored on your phone and it brings it all together very well.
You can make the phone look and react however you like with the use of themes, some of these are quite striking and if your lucky enough to get the bond titanium version you get a couple of extra 007 themes and ringtones.
But the star of the show is camera, you open it very much in bond style by sliding the end of the camera to the side, at this point the camera comes alive with touch sensitive buttons to take control of your photographs. Although there are many 5.0 megapixel camera phones out there few take as good shoots as the cybershot.
Downsides, well maybe the buttons are a little bit small and also have an odd slant to them. To summarise a great phone with an excellent camera, does all you need and more.
overall its one of the best in its class
This phone has a nice slim design and easy to identify and remember keys, I also like the touch screen display for the camera. The phone has that many features that I still keep discovering new things I can do with it even after 2 months.
It is easy to use and easy to remember how to do things there's also a nice walk through step guide for the more complicated features and settings. I would recommend this phone to anyone who likes taking pictures and likes to keep up with technology, overall its one of the best in its class.
brilliant phone for taking pictures and videos.
This is a brilliant phone for taking pictures and videos. The MP3 player is really clear and the ringing volume can be turned up quite high unlike other phones where you cant hear them ringing in your bag.
Menus are easy to follow, my main disappointment on this handset is the keys, they are really small and are quite hard to press and by the time I have sent a few texts my fingers are quite sore. Other than that its a fab phone
ditch the supplied earphones for something better quality
Very pleased with this phone. Took some getting used to the socket for the charger/usb connector being on the side rather than the bottom though.
Phone works well, good synchronising as you'd expect from a Sony Ericsson phone, excellent music player (though ditch the supplied earphones for something better quality) and good camera. I'm happy.
upgraded to the C902 from Sony and found it to be fantastic
As someone who has always stuck to Nokia in the past, I have recently upgraded to the C902 from Sony and found it to be fantastic.(I'm never going back) Its a very good looking phone, and fits well into the pocket. The camera is great with lots of little extra features such as centralising the face when taking photos as well.
a range of functionality that belies its classic looks
First view out of box, the C902 exudes class. A well designed phone with a classic style, but with a range of functionality that belies its classic looks and that does not disappoint. Although the camera does not give the same results as a dedicated digital camera, it is more than adequate for most photos.
Keypad is a huge improvement on recent modern phones, which gives this phone a great score for usability. The other major plus for me is the fast 3G / HSDPA connection and ease of navigating around web pages using the direction buttons on the keypad. A great phone.
I like the new Sony Ericsson C902 because its sleek and original with the blue touchscreen lights around the camera. Its 5.0 megapixel camera takes brilliant pictures indoors or out. It also has an expandable memory and MP3 player with great sound. I give the C902 and Sony Ericsson top marks for making such a brilliant phone.
Camera is good, except the flash is not very bright
The phone, itself, is very attractive. Lots of great features. Music sound quality is good. Camera is good, except the flash is not very bright, and I am unable to take pictures in the dark.
My phone also freezes and turns itself off, for no reason. It's quite slow, and I use things quite quickly, so perhaps the phone is not designed to work so fast, or there is is a fault in the manufacturing.
Several people have told me their Sony Ericsson C902's have done the same thing.
makes it as good a camera as a lot of stand alone digital compacts
Excellent camera and good touchscreen application for phone settings. With 5.0 megapixels and a very good flash it makes it as good a camera as a lot of stand alone digital compacts.
Sony Ericsson phones all have a very good logical menu system which makes all the applictions easy to find. Phone has a radio and comes with a handsfree kit which also doubles up as the radio headphones.
Only drawback is the buttons are quite small so takes a little time to get used to the keys.
compact mobile phone with a much improved camera mechanism
A nice, compact mobile phone with a much improved camera mechanism than previous models as there is nothing to catch in handbags/pockets and open the lens cover.
Good sized, clear and detailed screen with touch sensitive buttons when the camera is activated.
Overall features are very good including high speed internet and track recognition for identifying songs.
Only drawbacks are the buttons are a little stiff and the alarm seems to stop working intermittently
easy to use and looks the business
This is a great looking phone with a 5.0 megapixel camera which gives brilliant clear pictures. It has alot of extra features to the standard ones on most Sony Ericsson's eg, menu display, the touch screen on the camera section. Its easy to use and looks the business, well done sony.
generally slow to react and the battery life is very poor
Upgraded to a Sony Ericsson C902 after always using Nokia's. The phone has some good features and the camera is great. However, I have had to send it off for repair due to the phone freezing and turning itself off. The repair worked yet the phone itself is generally slow to react and the battery life is very poor. I won't be getting another Sony phone again.
the C902 identifies the faces in the picture, providing better photos
A very good phone overall, camera is brilliant, 5.0 megapixels which gives high quality photos and the videos are of great standard also. When taking a picture the C902 identifies the faces in the picture putting more focus on them for a better picture, battery life is brilliant and it has everything you need, virtually flawless.
easy to use and looks very stylish, really clear pictures
The phone has a great camera, really clear pictures, easy to use and looks very stylish. I also find the phone quite intelligent. The only negatives I have found is that the charger is quite fragile and the back is fairly hard to get off to expose the battery. Overall though I am very happy with it.
good phone but early models seem to have issues
I have always been a fan of Sony Ericsson phones for their build and reliability. This is a nice phone, camera is good however after 3 weeks my phone would freeze everytime I tried to make a call or write a text. Took the battery out and replaced it and phone wouldnt turn on, it also turns itself off for no reason.
My friend bought the same phone a week later and is now having the same problems. Good phone just think the first batch has alot of bugs.
Great applications, internet and games that you get with it
The phone is great, I love everything about it from the sleek stylish design to the great applications, internet and games that you get with it.
It does tend to freeze up from time to time which makes it that little bit annoying especially when talking to someone or writing messages.
Fantastic mobile phone from Sony again
Fantastic phone from Sony again, using a slightly updated version of the by now familiar menu system. If you've had a Sony before, you'll be using this one in no time at all and if not you won't believe how easy it is to use.
The camera is fantastic as you'd expect with Cybershot, but a word of warning is that the C905 is due out later this summer, complete with 8.2megapixel camera.
If you can't wait for that one though, this is an absolutely brilliant phone!
Great little phone with a high quality camera
I got this phone as soon as it came out, great little phone with a high quality easy to use camera and cool touch screen camera options. The screen is a decent size but this does make the keys slightly more awkward to use if you have large thumbs
very nicephone recommended.
