The Samsung i8910 Omnia HD is a stunning 3G handset which comes with a 3.7 inch touch screen. The screen is scratch resistant and provides a clear viewing experience. The handset runs on the Symbian S60 version 5.0 operating system. Some of the main features include an excellent 8 megapixel camera, GPS, music player, FM radio and 8GB of internal memory plus memory card support. can download games like football manager which I love playing
This phone is really good, it has a high definition video on it, I wouldnt say its as sharp as my 1080p tv from Samsung but its not far off. It is pretty simple to use aswell and has loads of good features, I even can download games like football manager which I love playing on my breaks.
To it's credit it is a beautifully designed phone
I got this phone a few months ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. To it's credit it is a beautifully designed phone with a plethora of amazing technology crammed into it, however in terms of usability and it's merit as a mobile phone it's awful.
Firstly, it never tells me if someone has left me an answer phone message but texts me two weeks after it's been left to tell me it's about to be deleted and would I like to listen to it? I also find that after it has run out of battery once it's been charged again it glitches a lot, for example will not hang up a phone call unless I take the battery out.
Another thing that I find annoying is that when it does tell me I've had a missed call (which half the time it won't) unless I've had more than one I cannot get the message to disapear unless I call the number back. And finally I find the touch screen has a very slow response time.
If you want a phone with all the latest technology this is great, if you want a phone for regular phone functions I'd choose something else.
brilliant at first, amazing camera and the HD is very good
The phone is brilliant at first, amazing camera and the HD is very good. However after a while it becomes a bit sluggish and slow to react. It would be good to have more applications for download too like the iPhone. Overall though a very good phone.
film your own video in high definition
I think this is a good rival to the iPhone, the fact that you can film your own video in high definition I think just tips it for this phone. I used this on an Orange contract the only flaw that I could find is that the Orange 3G didn't work very well, although this could be due to the area that I live in.

most amazing clarity of screen and the touch is so responsive
I had this handset for only a matter of days but was very impressed by what I saw, the most amazing clarity of screen and the touch is so responsive. The camera quality is just awesome and the auto panoramic shots are so cool.
It's also the first phone I've come accross which will actually play flash videos and games which is great fun. Its downside for me was the size and weight, theres no way I could cope with carrying it about with me all day... too heavy! If you can cope with that, then it's an amazing phone packed full of features.
Modern and exciting brand new features
Has a bit too much of a plastic feel, but thats the only negative point to draw from this phone.
But for those who like a light phone, then that wont be a problem!
Modern and full of exciting brand new features. The pick of the bunch when it comes to the current crop of mobile phones.
A must have for those who love touch screen, great picture quality and sleek design.
