Features UsabilityA great shiny mobile phone that I'm happy to be seen with
I got the Samsung U700 as an upgrade from Vodafone. I specificially asked for a Samsung slider as I liked the design and also the fact that they are quite sturdy.
I got the U700 and I am happy with it, I like the slim design and the large screen, the sliding mechanism feels just right, not too stiff or too loose.
Two niggles, it's easy to make a video call by mistake, the button is easy to press in error and the camera, quality is good but I haven't quite figured out the zoom and the default picture save setting is landscape, which is weird, I have sorted this now, but it should not be the default.
Otherwise, a great shiny mobile phone that I'm happy to be seen with.

Phone looks good, but can make calls by mistake in your bag due to the touch buttons, it also activates the internet easily, again due to the buttons.
I had a silver one of these and the colour rubbed off very easily so it looked a lot older than it actually was, if I was to get another one I would choose the black one due to this.

I really like this phone, it's easy to use and stylish, it has a 3.5 mega pixel camera, the pictures are great quality.
I recently took some photos for work and went to the supermarket and bluetoothed the pictures to the printing machine and they were just as good as pictures from a digital camera, the memory isn't that great but you can put your own memory card in it for a bigger memory
The screen does scratch quite easily, but this is by far the best phone I have had, if it broke I would get this handset again except perhaps purple this time!!

A very classy looking phone but the sensitivity of the touchscreen is too much causing you to continually delete stuff by mistake. It could also do with more memory and if uploading message alert tones you can't actually use as message tones only as ringtones which is annoying, but the camera on it is quite good and clear.

The Samsung U700 is a nice looking phone which is let down by the slightly poor response you get from the touch control, you are also stuck with the ringtones Samsung supply and the quality of pictures if you need to use the flash on the camera.
Outdoors the camera delivers high quality results with it's auto focus control but once inside or in darker conditions results can be patchy.
MP3 player works well and phone also has a flight mode so can be used without the phone part working, also very easy to unlock and update firmware.
