Samsung S3100 Reviews

The sleek and compact style of the Samsung S3100 is designed to look great in the hand, whilst the subtle contours and undulating detail creates the illusion of an overall sophisticated and stylish effect. A built in media player on the phone offers superb quality music playback, with DNSe support for superb natural sounding acoustics. MicroSD memory cards are supported up to 8GB in size, offering ample storage for all your media, whilst the inclusion of an FM radio allows you to keep up to date with the latest news and hits from your local FM radio station. The S3100 offers a fully customisable home screen, with up to 15 shortcuts to your favourite apps, whilst you can create and design your own background image for the home screen and other menu pages.
minor irritations with the texting
Good phone, fast and efficient, and decent looking for the price. However, minor irritations with the texting, I find. Predictive must be manually turned on at the start of every message, or, more inconveniently, at the end of every text in preparation for the next.
Words added to the phones dictionary stay in memory for an alarmingly short period of time, sometimes just a few texts. Even words I've added such as "XXX" (as in kisses) which I use with every text will one day just not appear, and must be readded. This is an annoyance, and in some ways a step back from some older Samsung models.
It has no real major problems, and should give the user a reasonable experience provided you don't want a phone to perform the functions of a cheap laptop as many new and expensive models do.
The screen is clear and the keypad is user friendly
This phone looks good and is easy to use although the sliding handset does have a tendency to slide shut during calls which can be a problem.
The screen is clear and the keypad is user friendly with the numbers and letters being slightly larger than on some other phones. It is quick and easy to customise with backgrounds fonts etc.
Overall I am very pleased with this phone which I feel was good value for money.
Good reliable phone which is easy to use
Good reliable phone which is easy to use. Good price very cheap. Would like it more if there was some tone's included before I used it. All the write tools needed ie facebook and myspace. Not too big and fit's in pocket. Takes good photo's and give's you plenty of memory to store thing's onto it.
a really nice phone with great sound and ease of use
A simple to use mobile phone, great design which includes weight and size. Could do with a larger text font as it is on par with the awful font of Sony Ericsson. Overall though a really nice phone with great sound and ease of use. great value for the money.

Mobile phones are constantly being updated in a constantly evolving industry with huge demands. Where camera phones go up by the megapixel on a monthly basis and the next big feature just around the corner, it certainly can be confusing finding the right mobile phone.
Most handsets now could be classed as 'smart phones' based on where mobile phones were a few years ago with the current crop of buzz words - 3G, HSPDA, megapixel, social networking, apps, A-GPS and more. Thats why reading impartial user reviews is the best way of deciding what phone to buy next!
