Samsung Genio S3650 Reviews

The diminutive Samsung S3650 Genio, previously known as the Corby is a compact, touchscreen device, offering a wide variety of communication options. As well as a built in email client, the S3650 is ideal for accessing your favourite social network on the move, whether it be MySpace, Twitter or Facebook, the Corby can handle them all. Memory capacity on the handset is up to 8GB via MicroSD memory cards, offering plenty of storage for images captured on the 2.0 Megapixel camera, or for storing music and videos for playback on the built in media player. The S3650 Corby is available in a wide range of funky colour choices, including Jamaican Yellow, Cupid Pink, Minimal White and Festival Orange.

the touchscreen is a bit non user friendly
Overall this is a well designed phone by Samsung, I have been using this phone myself for over 6 months now.
The only few things I have found wrong with it is; firstly the touchscreen is a bit non user friendly, quite difficult to write text messages on, but once used to it, its fine.
Also I have found that the unlocking of the keypad is a pain, you either have to hold a button on the side down or mess about with the button on the screen, in my opinion there should be a slide or switchable button on the side of the phone to lock and unlock the phone.
On the upside, it has very good internet and easily accessible widgets on the home screen, to access Facebook, youtube, google etc. Overall a good phone, and reasonably cheap, so value for money in my opinion.
reasonably priced touchscreen smartphone
The Samsung Genio is a reasonably priced touchscreen smartphone which is very simple to use. The main reasons for this are it's large, vivid touch sensitive screen, the speedy interface and the clever widget icons which allow quick access to the phones many features, such as the MP3 music player, voice recorder, FM radio and Bluetooth.
The phone looks great too, with it's slimline profile and interchangable rear covers which are available in many different colours. It can take pictures with it's 2 megapixel camera, and shoot video in 320x240 resolution.
Calling and texting can be done without much problem due to the good size of the touchscreen keypad, and the sound quality during calls is also good. Battery life is excellent, the phone can be left on for days before needing recharging, but using the internet browser for extended periods seems to rapidly decrease battery power.
Overall, this phone is a good choice for people who want a stylish, budget phone which is also a breeze to use.
very easy-to-use touch screen
It is a very easy-to-use touch screen and the only thing that lets this phone down is the lack of widgets that are available for it. The changeable covers keeps this phone up to date and in line with my mood and fashion awareness. Definitely a good, cheap-ish phone that will keep consumers happy.
the touch screen is extremely sensitive
I found this phone very difficult to use - the touch screen is extremely sensitive and unless you have mouse sized fingers I found I was hitting two keys at once when trying to text.
I have tried setting the weather, times, facebook, twitter and my space but I constantly keep getting an error message "Network Failure" I have checked with my service provider who have assured me the signal was fine in my area.
I also found the loudspeaker function very difficult to operate as on occasion I have to ring automated dialing systems when trying to unlock the phone during these calls to press 1, 2 etc is almost impossible - I have to circulate the options 2-3 times before I can select the right number.
On a positive note I do like the look of the phone and features that are available (when they work) I am going to try and swap it for another one or see if it is faulty.
I have always had Samsung phones but can safely say this is the worst one I have owned.

very flexible and fast touch screen menu.
My new mobile phone is excellent. It is a Samsung Genio S3650. I had another touch screen phone before but you had to use the buttons below the navigate whist this one has a very flexible and fast touch screen menu.
The video quality is excellent and I have been watching the latest music videos on it. Internet connection works really well and is reliable. It is easy to drag items around the screen.
Overall I love it!
The touch screen is very responsive
Great phone, Easy to use. The touch screen is very responsive as I have found some, slow and easily confused however this phone is excellent and has great features.
Google Maps works well on this phone. Texing is simple unlike some touch screen phones. The covers come in pink, black or white and there is a selection of these with the phone when purchased. However I was dissapointed to find no USB lead was included but getting one of these was simple.
Camera is excellent but a shame there is no flash, however picture quality is good. The movable screen can sometimes be annoying when in a rush however I have had no problems with this phone and intend on keeing it for some time.
It's very stylish and is very impressive
This phone is is a brilliant phone for anyone who uses there phone a lot and has a lot of applications. It's very stylish and is very impressive everytime you pull it out of your pocket. There are two features I like the most about this phone. The first is that it has 3 main screens so you can have a different wallpaper on each so your phone is different all the time. The second is you can change the color and design on the back. I would recommend this phone to anyone.
