The Samsung F700 is a 3G Smartphone which has a large touch screen for quick and easy access to the phones features. The F700 also has a slide out QWERTY keyboard and excellent media capabilities with full screen video playback. Other features include a 3 megapixel camera, VGA camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, MP3 player, video streaming with Mobile TV, expandable memory, email, a built-in web browser and a document viewer.

Usabilityexperiencing problems with the touchscreen acknowledging pressure
I read loads of mobile phone reviews before purchasing, all were poor but I took no notice. I regret this now, when I first had the phone I kept ringing people I didnt intend to ring and it took ages to come to terms with the touch screen.
The qwerty keyboard is a fantastic feature and I will really miss it when I change phones. I have now had the phone 9 months and experiencing problems with the touch screen acknowledging pressure. It can take over a minute now to disconnect a call.

This phone looks pretty cool and is not that bulky considering the amount of features it has. It came out in December 2007 and I immediately aquired one.
One thing that lets the phone down is the touchscreen although it works most of the time, no problem at all when it comes to texting but it can be a bit hit and miss.
The most disapointing aspect of the phone for me is the camera it is very poor. Even when taking a picture of something that is not moving the picture is still blurry. Also when playing a video back again the picture quality is very poor.
Overall the phone is not too bad but a better camera would really help.

Overall, I love this phone! It's slide pad revealing a querty keyboard is so much better than the average text keys. If you don't like the usual texting technique - then you'll love this phone. I've sent more text messages this year than I have in the past 5 years!
It has a touch sensitive screen with so many options and useful tools, from MP3 player, TV, to email and Internet browsing, you can even upload Microsoft Word documents on it.
The camera has good extras, the calendar is good for reminders, memos etc, itt has a good selection of most things, it has bluetooth and expandable memory also.
As much as I love this phone, the only drawbacks I have about it is it's slightly big (brick)and the volume isn't very loud so I do miss a few calls if I'm not near my phone.

Looks great, bags of style and features, but just too clever for it's own good.
It's a bigger phone than most of the ad's suggest.
Battery life to support so many gizmos is a big disappointment. It's great if you REALLY need a radio, internet, MP3 player, mini computer and e-diary as well as a good old fashioned dial and talk/text phone.
But it is really clumsy when trying to answer quickly or use discreetly.
Nice try Samsung, but not for me.

Got this phone when it had first come out in November 07, only by accident, didnt go out to buy this specific phone.
I'd tried loads of phones, and my mate had just got an iphone. Now that was awesome, really awesome. But ask him now which phone he'd have,and you'd be surprised with the answer.
Dont get me wrong, im not trying to say this is better, im not. But its a very very good phone, stunning. You've got to give it time, then you'll see how good it is.
Can't say about one good thing in particular, its just good all over, honest and i've used it a lot, i mean a lot since having it.
If you want a good phone thats sleek and draws attention when you take it out and yet a really really good all rounder - the Samsung F700 is the one.
I promise its stunning.
