Like the Sonim XP1 and XP3, the Nextel line and the Samsung Rugby, the Samsung B2100 is a good rock solid ruggedized GSM handset for the active lifestyle.
I've been using the phone for about 6 months now with no complaints. Battery life is great, call quality is great. My B2100 even survived a trip through the washing machine and spin cycle with no internal or external damage.
Now this is for all you youngsters out there, be aware that this phone like other rugged phones is not very long on features. It's built like a brick so painters dont break it when they drop it off the roof when they are painting the top story of the building.
The Samsung B2100 is made for people who dont need features, and just need a phone that works and doesnt break when dropped all the time. Sadly GSM providers only seem to offer trendy phones with millions of fancy features to people with PHD's who work in nice offices all day.

This is a very good inexpensive basic phone ideal for basic use. Good size and weight. Easy to use and access applications with simple navigation. Very good screen visability, nice torch facility. Sound quality reasonable not the best. Buttons not as firm and durable as E1100. Almost as good as E1100 for it's class.
