camera is poor with no flash and no headphone socket

This is a very stylish looking phone with lot's of useful features. Running Windows Mobile 6.0 it uses an additional HTC bit of software called TouchFlo which is very snazzy.

Though there are a few issues, typing is tricky on the touchscreen, camera is poor with no flash and no headphone socket, you have to use the USB port. Battery life is pretty poor, especially with WI-FI and Bluetooth enabled. However, this phone is a decent upgrade from my old Vario I.

recommend this as a good, less expensive rival to the iPhone

This is HTC's rival to the Apple iphone, the touchscreen is easy to use and you can use it to access all of the features that HTC mount on this small unit. The case is very compact and fits easily into your pocket or handbag.

The camera is good and easy to use, this camera can be used to take some surprizingly good photographs. Windows Mobile 6 has lots of commercial and freeware software available for it and this unit has almost unlimited upgradability. I would recommend this as a good, less expensive rival to the iPhone and it gives an excellent mobile experience

Great phone with every functionality except infra red and 3G

A great phone with every functionality except infra red and 3G. It has WiFi so you can use the internet very quickly and easily. It is very customizable and has programs that work with most file extensions, Including Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat.

Very easy to use and set up, great value Smart Phone

I bought my HTC Touch in white on the Orange network on pay as you go and I was amazed by it, when I got home I unboxed it and it had a fully charged battery with it and I got a spare stylus with all the manuals, screen protector and carry pouch.

I turned the phone on and I was pleased how quick it booted up and how easy it is to use, I linked the Wifi up to my home hub which took 2mins to do, then I was able to use the internet on my phone via Wifi and it was very quick.

Call quality is very good and you have loads of features in the windows program to choose from, I would recommended it to anyone who wants a good cheap smart phone.

Nice design, small and compact but very powerful

Nice design, had the phone since Feb 08, after having the previous version, this one doesn't lock up/freeze (requiring a reboot) half as much as the old one used to.

The first stylus snapped within a month but the spare has been going well, came with a 1gb memory card, enough room for 150 MP3 tracks and still room for nearly 1000 2megapixel pictures, nice design, small and compact but very powerful, already downloaded a few additional programs including a pocket pc version of Brain Training, very addictive.

Appart from the stylus the only other annoying thing is that the headphone socket and charger socket are one in the same so you cant charge the phone and listen to music via the headphones.

A good windows mobile based all rounder and well recommended.

The HTC Touch is very easy to use, full of features and most importantly slim enough to stick in you pocket unlike some of the bulkier PDA based phones.

The only fiddly part of the operating system is that to text you really need to use the built in stylus but once you do so this phone allows you to input by either a touch screen keyboard or recognises your handwriting on the screen.

With wireless connection capablility for E-mails etc on the move and the possibilty of installing GPS software (receiver not built in) this really is a good windows mobile based all rounder and well recommended.

MDA Touch works really well

Great phone works really well if you sync with your pc or laptop. I love it as I work away from home lots and use it every day.

Would get this every day over the iphone also tmobile are great too.

The pen that it comes with are not cheap if you lose but do get a spare one with it.
