Nokia's N82 packs a mighty punch making it a fantastic smart phone. With a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lense, built in xenon flash photography as well as one touch upload to web picture facilities allowing you to instantly share your photos. Design Features Usabilityremembered we had this ingenious phone with full sat nav
I went into Orange for an upgrade and I didnt know what to get and already having the Nokia N70 I was shown the Nokia N82 as a free upgrade, its a great phone with all the usual Nokia features and much better than my N70 (and I thought that was good)
The photo capability is excellent, storing all our family pictures and taking better quality pictures than most digital cameras with a proper xenon flash (at 5.0 megapixels its no wonder).
The added bonus of free Sat Nav was something that didn't appeal to us until we actually had it and a few times its proven invaluable. We went to try and find Edinburgh zoo, got lost and then remembered we had this ingenious phone with full sat nav capabilities, we just asked it where we were and then asked it to point us in the right direction and we got there in no time. Again ( this weekend in fact ) we got lost in the Clumber park area of Nottinghamshire and used it to get us out and home, we aren't sat nav users as a rule ( we would rather gimp around and not admit were lost ) but a few times now we are glad to have this phone.
It also comes with all the attachment cables so you can just plug and play straight into the tv to view your pics and videos which is excellent if you like to view your days outings and choose which photos you want to have developed ( or just leave them playing as a huge picture frame when the family are round for a bbq )it has wireless Lan as standard, its a 3g phone, too, what more could you ask for???

This is a really good phone, the camera is outstanding - in fact you dont need to use a separate digital camera. You can download google maps and this works well with the phone's GPS. The internet is very good, make sure you download Opera mini. My favourite feature is Sports tracker- when you go running it tells you how far you have run. Recommended

A very good phone overall with all the features you need, a little slow to move between menu's though. I'm not keen that its difficult to find a sat nav program that will work with the built-in GPS. It could also do with having a little louder loud speaker, I'm comparing this to my previous Nokia N73, worth buying though as everything has a downside really.

Another excellent phone from Nokia, I previously had the Nokia N73, updated to this and I am not dissapointed.
Many of the features are similar, the keypad not too different and the same ease of use as you'd expect from a Nokia phone.
The GPS is a fantastic feature, as for the music player, you can now plug your normal headphones into this phone, sound quality is great, even the internal speakers play the tunes with a good amount of punch.
Lots of features, shame about the limited colour schemes of though, the casing does seems well made and drop proof.
If you are on a contract and have your suppliers software on it (especially Orange), get it flashed, you loose a lot of functions in the operator software.
I always get my Nokia's flashed and it does make a lot of difference. If you like Nokia's and liked the older version, buy this.

I got this phone as an upgrade at the start of 2008 and have not looked back. It has all the latest gadgets and gismo's you could ever want or need.
Internet is brilliant, the 5 meg camera amazing and the overall quality of the phone is oustanding. Battery life can be used up very quickly however if loads of applications / programs are left open.
