It is easy to use and very good for music fans

This phone is very good value for money, I believe that it offers the correct features for daily use. It is easy to use and very good for music fans. It can hold up to 2500 songs and 1000 photos. I do believe it could do with a better megapixel camera, but photos still come out good.

overall appears to be solid and early thoughts are that its gonna be good

I have just taken delivery of this mobile and have owned it for about a week so this review relates to my first impressions. As usual I will try to write another one once I have used it long term.

I have upgraded from the E71 which I found to be one of the best phones I have ever owned, so this has a lot to live up to.

I must say that getting it out of the box the phone did not look that impressive probably because these days the candy bar is not particularly fashionable.

The front screen is comparable to my wife's N96 which differs from the E71 to which I am used to, however I am getting used to it now and it can be customised.

It has all the latest gadgets such as maps, e-mail, camera, video, all of which seem to be good quality.
The slide qwerty key board seems to be of good firm quality and it is actually nice to be able to text really quickly using the main keypad as opposed to having to use a keyboard.

The media aspect is all good with a large memory card included, and the speaker seems to be better quality than my trusted E71.

The only downside seems to be getting used to the fiddly buttons and I have constantly been entering different apps than I wanted to. This will no doubt just be down to getting used to the buttons.

The phone overall appears to be solid and the early thoughts are that its gonna be a good un!

Recommended to people who want a business phone in particular

Love the phone. A little bit slow sometimes. Although it has the wonderful nGage I don't particularly want to pay for them. Great sound quality. Two keypads are very useful. Pretty fast on the net. Very good camera quality. The videos aren't grainy either! Recommended to people who want a business phone in particular.

the battery is not a big powerhouse as the E71's

Some users may not like its plastic look and that it looks like a cheap Nokia candy bar at first sight when in the keyboard closed position. I personally do like it - as it''s a bit less eye-catching and maybe less of a thief magnet. The phone really comes into its own when the full qwerty keyboard is slid out.

Arguably, the qwerty keyboard is a tad less in quality than the E71 (which has similar specifications and with which the E75 will probably be most compared to). I'm also pleased to see a standard 3.5mm jack for headphones. The phone, when closed, is even more pocket friendly than the E71.

The only thing missing as far as connectivity goes is the defunct infra-red - for transferring data from old phones and PDAs - I use my E61 for that. One other downside is that the Nokia maps GPS service is pay-for subscription.

One last minor point, the battery is not a big powerhouse as the E71's. I would have given it a 5 for design if it was an all-metal body and allowed some angled tilt to the screen when the qwerty keyboard is slid out.
