Nokia 5140i Overview
The Nokia 5140i is a smart cameraphone with a 65,000 colour display. It is marketed as an outdoor phone as the protective cover supports it against daily wear and tear. All the usual Nokia cameraphone features are included; VGA camera, video player, stereo radio, poly and MP3 ringtones It has a few unique features too, including Push To Talk, a fitness coach, digital compass, thermometer, decibel meter, new animated menu graphics, flashlight and extensive calendar.

Only phone I've ever had which can withstand the abuse I put it through. It has been thrown against walls dropped on every surface and still works. Built in torch is extremely handy. Only negative point is the camera, very bad quality, dont buy if you're looking for a dedicated camera phone.

I have had this phone over 2 years now and it's still working perfectly, the only downside is that the quality of the camera is rather low.
The phone is perfect if you're outside a lot, this phone can survive a lot of punishment. You can also install custom Java applications, so you can extend its functionality.
To connect the Nokia 5140i to your computer you will need an infrared port on your computer, you can use a special USB cable, but they were expensive when I bought the phone, however most laptops have a built in infrared port which you can use.
The phone itself is very stable (you can throw it around etc) and the software is stable (no problems using the phone and installing java applications), using the phone is easy and intuitive.
Overall, it's a good phone and I'm happy with it.

Great for sports people such as myself, Stop watch ideal for random circuit training when you're out running / training. Camera function, not great - its very delayed taking pictures so you often miss the moment that you were trying to capture, and the quality of the pictures is very very poor.
Essentially, this is a phone ideal for a sportsman / woman who would appreciate its functions!
