The Nokia 1112 mobile phone is a good basic phone. It has no features like camera, internet etc but is very straightforward to use. If you are looking for a basic mobile phone, this one is ideal. It has an alarm, some games built in and a nice display.

Cheap and cheerful but not intuitive to use

Cheap and cheerful but not intuitive to use. The phone book is complicated to find and the menu system takes a lot of getting used to. Can you expect more from such a cheap phone? There is a permanent envelope icon on the screen and I spent a long time trying to find a message I thought that I had. Can't find one. It doesn't mean there isn't one though.

Pretty basic handset, but is reliable and does the basics very well

This phone is pretty basic, but as I only wanted a phone for calling friends and family and sending text messages it suits me fine.

I top up once a month, its easy to use, very reliable and fits nicely in my bag. I am more than happy with my phone, it was bought for me and its ideal. The only downside as I see it is the letters on the buttons are a bit on the small side.

Performs perfectly well and the battery life is good

Very average but functional and low cost. There's not a frill to be had with this telephone but at least you won't be bothered by anyone wanting to steal it. I've been using it on a tempory basis as my old phone was lost and can have no real complaints apart from it's not at all fashionable. Performs perfectly well and the battery life is good

Worth every penny as a cheap PAYG

Nice simple phone that does what it says non the box. Great for young or old who are not bothered by loads of features.

Battery life is great and it is very simple to use. Can be picked up very cheaply and is worth every penny as a cheap PAYG or back up in case of emergencies.

Favourite mobile of all time

This is my favourite phone of all time - the Nokia 1112.

2 week battery life on standby. Clear reception.

Instant finding of numbers, and texts. Speaking clock. Easy to see in sunlight. Weighs next to nothing.

As a simple phone, this is great. Supplied by business and government bodies to employees, due to cheap costs and robustness.

Best back up phone ever.
