The sophisticated MP3 player and be easily synchronised with Windows Media Player on your PC. The U9 also features a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth and expandable memory up to 4GB.

The Motorola U9 is a lightweight and easy to use phone. It has a 2MP built in camera on the back which is of good quailty, also a video recorder. It also has a micro SD card slot in the back for extra memory, (the phones internal memory isn't that big).
There are built in games and it is windows media compatable. It plays MP3, and also has bluetooth. The sound quality is very good, and it has touch sensor music buttons on the front which are good. It also comes with stereo headphones, (Bluetooth ones can be purchased).
You can search the web and check your personal email account (providing you have browser service activated on you phone). There is a problem with the battery life on this phone, it only lasts 1 day even with very little use. Overall the Motorola U9 is a good phone.

Not much memory, if you want to play music memory card essential. Once had phone for a year it started to play up, will only play sounds on ringtones and alarms now. Can't play music or watch videos with any sound. Will only charge when placed upside down and even then must apply pressure on the charger for it to work, good phone but not for long term use.

Has always worked well, but sometimes is not easy to switch off - button is very small. I love the colour purple and it is small and very easy to carry, with a pull down case. Camera good but email quite complicated to use. Messages and contacts ok.

Very durable, the mp3 player is good apart from you have to be careful when you put it in your pocket not to skip/pause the song. The alarm clock feature is good but the phone does tends to switch its self off occasionally and sometimes takes a while for messages to come through.

I chose the U9 primarily on its appearance. A shiny purple flip phone. Appearance is everything to me, and so many times a new 'pink' or 'red' phone hits the market and my inital excitement quickly turns to disappointment. Have you noticed they are always a wishy washy shade?
Motorola do not disappoint, a vibrant shiny purple, exactly as described, just as its predessor, the KRZR K1 was a trendy shade of midnight blue. As I prefer flips to touch screens this model seemed to have to have it all.
The camera is fine, but that suits as I don't use it often, and I've never downloaded music. There is a voice activated feature that reads out your contacts, which I find irritating, especially if scrolling through contacts, although fortunatley this can be de-activated!
All and all, this neat sized phone that does what I expect of it, but more importantly to me it looks great!

The phone is a great design and in pink which makes it so girly but classy aswell. I love the idea of the touch screen on the flip which is great for the music player. I also love the way it can read your messages, phone numbers etc out to you. Bad point is the way it can get so easily scratched on the touch screen and the memory is not so great unless you buy extra.

Having had a Motorola before, I thought this phone would be great. Just as easy to use as other Motorola's but was very disappointed with the features. Phone has small memory so you cannot store a large number of pictures, picture quality is also poor.
Phone only has one game with no option to download further ones - probably because you can't get internet access with this phone.

This stylish phone is great for calls, it is small and compact, but I prefer a bigger screen. It is great for music, and the camera is good too. Unfortunately the shiny metallic case get scratched easily. The keys are easy to use and I find Motorola quite good to navigate (previous phone Moto V3).

Love the purple colour and design. However find that the battery runs down quickly and picture messaging still proving a problem. The display screen on the closed phone is a great feature and my favourite is the fireworks. Overall had I tested this phone out first I probabaly wouldnt have kept it.

The Motorola U9 is a very modern looking phone and being very small it easily fits into pockets or bags etc without being noticed or taking up much space.
The display is very clear and colourful which helps with viewing photos or videos that you may take or download. You can access the internet pretty much anywhere and also download music to this phone.
The phone runs a version of windows media player which helps to do this. Overall this is a very good phone that looks modern and has great usability.

Having never owned a Motorola handset before I was hesitant to order this model. I decided to go for it because of its funky colour, design and that I like flip phones.
I was really surprised to find that the Motorola is easy to use, and it looks good. The phone features are good and the music player is really handy. Camera is also good when used during the day.
Bad points are that the handset could do with more memory, having had the phone for around 6 months I have filled the picture/video memory and keep having to delete things to take more. Also although the camera is good there is no flash, so taking photos/videos at night is out of the question.
The outside screen is bright and colourful and quite scratch/chip resistant. Overall I really like this phone and would definitely consider a Motorola again in the future.

This is the worst phone I have ever owned, I have only had it since May and it has already been repaired twice. It constantly crashes or a red screen appears and you can't do anything, apparently it is a software fault.
I picked it really because of the design, its modern, girly and I was particularly drawn to the MP3 Player on the outside screen, however it scratches really easily. These are the main downfalls of this phone.
If these problems were fixed it would be a great phone, but as it stands I probably wouldn't buy a Motorola again, well, definitley not this phone.

Quirky looking phone, its great. I have the purple version, the only downside to it is the front can scratch quite easily if not looked after.
It has a music player which holds loads of songs, it also has a touchscreen facility for the music player. It really is a great phone with so much on it, well worth checking it out, judge it for yourself.

This is a stylish, easy-to-use phone that feels good in your hand, just the right size and weight. The screen is crystal clear and the menu system is so simple and intuitive, you won't need to spend an hour reading the manual first.
The number pad is a generous size making texting easy, rather than fiddly (unlike some phones!) The camera is one of the best features, giving excellent quality images, with up to 8x zoom. The sound quality is very good too. It comes with all the usual features you'd expect (bluetooth, mp3 player, internet connectivity etc). Highly recommended.

The U9 from Motorola is a fantastic mobile phone, it is easy to navigate and it has fantastic camera quality, the memory on it is great too.
I havent had one problem with this phone and best of all it comes in a reddy pink colour too for the female population.
It is very sleek and oval shape, lightweight too, mine has a really cool graphics setting when closed it looks like its on fire! its fantastic.

Hi I got the Motorola U9 phone a few days ago I was so happy when it came!
It has a great look, very rounded, excellent sound quality. The display is great and battery life better than any phone I have had before.
I bought the black phone but wish I had the purple one now!
