Motorola site support fixed my connection problem instantly
As a extra to my Motorola Q9 review, I have found the Motorola site support fixed my connection problem instantly. All I had to do was list my supplier and phone with my number. They sent the settings which once I entered a code that they gave on site did the business instantly and it worked.
I would say to anyone with a problem to try the manufacturers site first. If I had done that I wouldn't have had the problems trying to manually fix it.
Now up and running I have found the Q9 very easy to work with. The combination of soft touch control buttons and the central wheel are very easy to use.
Everyday I am finding something else on board that I like, from adding photos to contacts, not important but I love it.
Loads of features and on the whole very easy to use
I like the keyboard on this phone its very comfortable to use. The keys are well spaced and have a positive feel when pressed. I soon got used to finding symbols etc.
The screen is big enough to read clearly. I've even downloaded my favourite ebook to the phone and can read comfortably. I use the scroll bar option for my display preferences but there are a good choice of other profiles you can select, in fact the Q9 is easy to personalise.
Its camera is 2.0 megapixels and takes both still and video. I would have liked a better quality photo but if you simply want to have a picture on your phone or send a photo it is brilliant.
Sound is very good with a choice of preset environments. Call quality is great and as I work outside a lot thats what I wanted. The calender is very workable and the phone links to bluetooth and pc by usb so its simple to use. On the phone you cannot limit the repeats of a regular appointment, thats sorted by linking with a pc and using Outlook.
The one downside to my Q9 is setting up the web. It is not a play and go option yet, you have to get your hands dirty and manually input the settings. That I didn't like and am still trying to get it working correctly. Once the phone companies update their phone setting list this should not be a problem.
I also worry about scratching that lovely screen, maybe a case should be included in the package.
Overall a lovely phone. Feels good and works very well once set up. I would recommend it. It has loads of features and on the whole very easy to use.
