Motorola Milestone Reviews

The latest release from the revamped Motorola line-up, the Motorola Milestone is a top end smartphone, running on the latest version of Android OS, 2.0. The display on the Milestone is crisp, clear and large, measuring in at 3.7 inches and supporting up to 16 million colours. A slide out QWERTY keyboard facilitates easy text and email composing, and the Android OS helps with tight integration with a whole host of online services, including the usual suspects of Facebook and Twitter, plus all the Google services including calendar and mail. The Milestone is a capable device, with strong imaging capabilities, from a 5.0 Megapixel camera that can also record video clips at up to D1 (720 x 480) resolution. The Milestone has strong data support via HSPA and WLAN, whilst memory is expandable via MicroSD memory cards.

It's the little things that make the difference
Awesome!
I have been an avid Windows Mobile user for years and after being tempted by Blackberry, and disapointed by iphone (seriously! why are these things popular?) I tried a friends Milestone and after seeing it multitasking and how fast and responsive it is, I ordered mine the same evening.
It's the little things that make the difference, pop it in the nightstand dock and it turns into a bedside clock, put it into the windscreen mount and it activates car dock mode with voice activation.
Add to the mix that Google have just updated maps to include full sat nav navigation and I'm hooked.
Windows Mobile seems so antiquated by comparison, Blackberry is good, but the screens are generally small, and iphone seems like a toy (only run one thing at a time) have to hold it in a certain way to get cell coverage?)
Android has me converted, and the Milestone although now not the fastest Android out there, is simply one of the best.

Mobile phones are constantly being updated in a constantly evolving industry with huge demands. Where camera phones go up by the megapixel on a monthly basis and the next big feature just around the corner, it certainly can be confusing finding the right mobile phone.
Most handsets now could be classed as 'smart phones' based on where mobile phones were a few years ago with the current crop of buzz words - 3G, HSPDA, megapixel, social networking, apps, A-GPS and more. Thats why reading impartial user reviews is the best way of deciding what phone to buy next!
