Camera is also poor quality

There's not much to this phone, especially with the likes of the iPhone out there. There's nothing to do on this phone, really is just for making and receiving texts and calls. There is only 2 buttons on the front of this phone and mine fell off after one drop, really isnt worth the price I have originally paid for it. The internet web pages are poor and ringtones are tinny. Camera is also poor quality. Overall not a good phone.

believe this to be one of the most urganomically designed phones

I personally believe this to be one of the most urganomically designed phones for anyone in this generation to have. It is light, stylish, well equipped but does have some defects. After time the number pad failed to register the number one being pressed. Camera is rather poor and the bluetooth wont receive a file over 8,000 something or other which determines the size of the file.

more about style than practicality

This phone is more about style than practicality although that said it has all the major features you need from a quality phone. I find the volume not great. The screen touch is a great uptodate feature and I love the little leather case that comes with the phone to protect the screen.

well worth reading the booklet that comes with the phone

The LG Prada is very easy to use, although if you have no previous experience with a touch screen phone, it may take a while to get used to texting.

The silver edging does start to peel after 3 months or so, which does kind of ruin the look of the phone. The themes on the phone are nice, and the Prada theme gives the phone a more professional look.

I have had my phone for over a year and have only just discovered that you can set individual photos and ringtones for different contacts, so its well worth reading the booklet that comes with the phone.

Worth investing in for looks, but the 2MP camera ia almost an afterthought

The Prada phone, the LG KE850, sounds impressive and most certainly is. It is a slim phone, looks even smaller and thinner in silver, and the chrome buttons at the bottom, matching the chrome strip around the outside, give this handset a touch of class.

The touchscreen is light and easy to use, and the user interface, although it takes a little time to get used to, is no worse than any other touchscreen phone.

Worth investing in for looks, but the 2 MP camera ia almost an afterthought - although the results are good.

takes a while to get used to the touchscreen

I purchased this a couple of months ago and found it to be good, apart from it takes a while to get used to the touch screen if you have never used one before. The downside is that the black finish peels off when bumped and leaves the natural silver phone underneath which looks a bit ugly after a while. Overall it is an excellant phone and if you use a mobile protector, will last a long time.

stylish and really well designed

Great touch phone, stylish and really well designed. Nice features and everything, but a bit delicate (finger prints tend to be on it like stains and the screen is really easy to be scratched). Overall a very good mobile, especially now it can be found at a very good price. Recommended.

love it and am very happy to stick with it for a while yet

Overall a great phone. Very stylish and enjoyable to use. There are a couple of downsides though.. the touch screen has completely frozen 2 or 3 times (not too bad in about 2 years usage) and when this happens, the only thing you can do is take the battery out and start again.

Also, the screen and casing does have a tendency to scratch and the Prada logo has just started to fade, but you can pretty much expect that with phones such as this that are designed for fashion not function!
Personally, I love it and am very happy to stick with it for a while yet!

I have had many compliments on this phone

I think the LG prada is fantastic! it is much easier to type with when online than any other mobile phone I have had as well as being really stylish. I have had many compliments on this phone. The only problem I have is that it is a touch screen but I am getting used to it now.

might just as well go for another LG model without the Prada name

At first glance the LG Prada looks like a great little phone.... but are you just paying for the Prada name?

Well, as far as the design goes, its good whilst it lasts, but when I had mine, the casing got tatty all too quickly and with just normal wear and tear the phone began to look quite worn after a few months.

The features are good, comparable to other models, but to be honest you might just as well go for another LG model without the Prada name for the same features and better design (unless you're just a label slave - in which case this is probably the phone for you!)

I have found that the touch screen can sometimes freeze

Lovely looking phone but I have found that the touch screen can sometimes freeze which is a pain when you are in the middle of writing a text as you have to remove the battery to turn the phone off as it won't do anything.

Overall it is a good phone apart from the potential freezing issue but this could just be a problem with my particular phone.

First class "POSH" phone that does not look tacky

First class "POSH" phone that does not look tacky. Lovely and sleek and really easy to use. So easy to use for downloads and easy access to internet for emails and other services. Large screen which is scratch resistant. This phone is so very simple to use a child could programme it. I have had mobile phones for years and this is the only one I would highly recommend.

overall wouldnt recommend, maybe the Prada 2 will be better

Looks very fashionable, sleek black with a Prada pouch, a problem I've found is that the pouch is pressured onto the phones screen and leaves scratches.

Being one of the first tocuhscreens there have been a few gliches having to restart the phone because it froze. Also texting has become slower and not as easy as normal button pad phones.

The camera quality is good for such a low megapixel camera. Overall not a good phone maybe the Prada 2 will be much better.

touch screen was very annoying, it was jumpy and unresponsive

I got this phone for my birthday last year, and got rid of it within a month I was so unimpressed. I really liked the idea of a touch phone, which was the main incentive of me buying this, however I also thought the design looked good.

At the time there were only two or three touch screen phones out, this was the only one which was below £200. However, after a week of use I could see why it was cheaper. The touch screen was very annoying, it was jumpy and unresponsive, it made it almost impossible to text quickly. The camera was poor and it had very limited features. After two months of struggle I decided to sell it and buy the Samsung G600 which I am still using and am still impressed with.

Dont buy a black shiny phone, they scratch very easily

Not a bad phone, it looks really great. One of the best designs I have seen in a very long time. However the black finish scratches very easily. had mine about a month before they started to show up. I would buy another phone from LG in the future as this one was really good value for money. Dont buy a black shiny phone, they scratch very easily.

Very attractive mobile phone with an excellent camera

Very attractive mobile phone with an excellent camera, however due to being touchscreen it can be tricky if you need to call or text someone quickly. Very flashy and comes in a leather case to protect. I would reccomend the phone to anyone as it is better than the average Nokia.

touch buttons were either too sensitive or would not work

This phone was awkward to use, the touch buttons were either too sensitive or would not work. After 6 months the alarm clock did not work and I could not get ringtones to play even on full volume - whether they were standard LG or realtone. Very poor.

smart, light, and well packed with features mobile phone

This was yet another phone purchased for my good lady wife who loves anything bling. The problem was, on the very first minute of unpacking and firing it up it was evident that she did not have the patience for it.

Her false fingernails would not operate the touch screen and that meant the phone was passed immediately back to me. I however do not have false nails and decided to stick with it. At first I was not impressed as I seemed to suffer severely from fat finger syndrome which meant operation (especially texting) was an extremely slow and frustrating process but guess what, the more you use it, the easier it becomes.

This is a smart, light, and well packed with features phone, as long as you dont need to do everything at break neck speed then it may well be for you.

My phone has been fitted with a memory card to allow loads of data storage and it has a good quality camera, video and MP3 player.

The only downside is that in brilliant sunshine you cannot see the screen easily and the smears drive you mad. I luckily read loads of reviews before purchase and knew not to use the smart looking carry case, as it can scratch your screen apparently.

When purchasing this phone please bear in mind that it is one of the early touch screen phones from LG so there is no stylus as with the LG Viewty etc. I do not know anything about software etc, all I can say is that this has been an adequate phone for me and upon its first release there was nothing else looking the same.

been out for a while now but still highly regarded

A very nice looking phone which will certainly raise a few eyebrows. Has been out for a while now but still highly regarded.

Have had mine since they first arrived and its surprisingly durable and still looks fairly new (even though I lost the little leather case quite early on)

Has some great features although I do find texting annoying sometimes. Overall, I am happy with it and would recommend it.

Stylish and easy to use with loads of great features

I really love this phone, it is very stylish and easy to use with loads of great features. The basic package includes phone case which is great as usually these are extra. the only downside is that if your hands are sticky, wet or hot the phone pad will not work.

I love it's Prada style and I doubt I will change it for a while

The LG Prada is great, it doesn't have the biggest memory in the world but nothing is perfect, if you want loads of music buy an iPod instead of a phone.

I love the colour, the touch screen, the lion roar when it turns on, everything is just so cool. One thing I have found that people moan about is that it's difficult to use with the touch screen, I don't think its hard at all, although saying that the ones who said it was difficult were all men, which I can understand because if you have bigger fingers you might not find it so easy.

I love it's Prada style and that it actually fits in your hand, the only thing I could say bad about it is that I prefer slide phones but I suppose when you have two or more different things it just confuses people.

Overall, I love this phone and I doubt I will change it for a while.

Looks the part but found it impractical to use

The phone is stylish, comes with a practical cover to prevent scratches and is sleek with a complete touch screen.

It has only 3 buttons and certainly looks the part, however on using it I found it impractical, sometimes the screen jams if you type a little too quickly, and that old problem whereby you make a (possibly fatal!) spelling mistake in a text is nigh on impossible to correct. There are no navigation keys to scroll back so you have to delete and then retype the whole thing.

Also on calling my provider to check minute usage I was asked to press 1 for mobile queries but there are no number keys on the phone during a call, only when dialling! There you have it: two extremely irritating little problems, I haven't had the handset long, but I'm sure I will find more little problems.

I love my LG Prada

I love my LG Prada, it looks sleek and many people have mistaken it for the i-Phone.

Its touchscreen feature is hard to use to begin with but you do get used to it and then it feels strange to go back to normal keypads.

The photo quality is excellent and the screen is huge to look at your pics on. Great phone all round.

This is a ladies dream phone and an alternative to a pink phone!

I love my LG Prada. I have had it a while now.

It is a stylish and chic mobile phone which stood out from the rest.

Whats more it has a touchscreen which I find great fun! Takes a little bit longer to text on but still got to love the touch screen. Its the first mobile phone that I have seen to do this?

This phone is just gorgeous and will not let anyone down who has a taste for style like me :-)

This is a ladies dream phone and an alternative to a pink phone!
