LG KP500 Cookie Reviews

The LG KP500 Cookie is a stylish touch screen phone. It has a 3 inch TFT colour screen which can be used by hand or with the stylus which is concealed in the side of the handset. It also has touch screen handwriting recognition to make it easier when writing emails and texts. Features include a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, MP3 Player, FM radio and Memory card slot. The LG KP500 supports a document viewer which allows you to view documents in PDF format, XLS & DOC format. This stunning handset is available in various colours.
It's many features are simple and easy to use
Overall I think the KP500 Cookie is a excellent phone. It's many features are simple and easy to use. Personally, I like the KP500 Cookie because its a very adaptable phone.
I have bad eyesight and due to the phone being a full screen this enables me to see things more clearly, as well as this it has a very good sound system for a phone.
If I had to change one thing it would be the lock, I have noticed that if I have the phone in my pocket against something else then it sometimes will unlock itself because of the touch screen lock. Overall, it is a very good phone, it is loud and easy to use.
The screen is good and responsive
Great phone for the money. I personally think that it looks great, it's also very durable (having been dropped, thrown & chewed by my baby!)
The screen is good and responsive even with the protective cover on. The stylus is cute and slots back in easily. I found the phone easy to navigate having been used to Samsungs for the last 5 years.
My only criticisms are that the camera isn't great, the pictures look poor on the screen and it's slow to take a photo. The memory isn't great either - you can't save loads of photo's or videos. Overall I would recommend this highly though. Especially for the price.
the applications are also very good
I have had this phone now for 3 months, a lot of people recommended that I didnt get it, but im glad I did. It comes in a range of different colours, is slim line and a nice looking phone.
The touch screen comes with a small pen so its easy to use and the applications are also very good. The camera quality is good for the price of the phone and there is a brilliant app where you can change your pictures into a video.
I think that this is a brilliant phone and I would recommend that anyone buy's it despite the bad reports that you may hear.
it's easy to use interface suits even the biggest technophobe!
This phone is stunning in both design and practicality. A super sleek smooth case gives it a thoroughly modern feel while it's easy to use interface suits even the biggest technophobe! Despite it having a touch sensitive screen it's ease of use is amazing and features are clear.
I found that sometimes the touch screen can be non responsive
This phone is a great way to get started with touch screen usage; its large screen and large icons allow the newest of users to comfortably know where they are pointing.
It is easy to customise (wallpaper, ring tone, icon layout, menu scroll etc) and can be made to be "your personal mobile phone". The camera allows you to take pictures or video on the go and is easy to share or use the images you take.
However, I found that sometimes the touch screen can be non responsive for a few seconds sometimes and cant keep up with a fast texter (such as myself) and often find the phone can lag, and can delete the word you are currently typing; although, this may have just been a fault in my handset only.
LG have always been a good make and although my experience with the LG cookie has not been the best, it is still a great, inexpensive phone for people who are new to touch screen technology and take their time when using a phone.
Video and camera are unusable in any kind of darkness
The LG Cookie looks good, but is a difficult phone. Calls can easily be made by accident when the phone is in your pocket. Texting is slow. Video and camera are unusable in any kind of darkness (no flash), battery life is poor. On the plus side the alarm is good.
most of the features are easy to access
This phone is very easy to use if your an impatient person as most of the features are easy to access. Having said that, it is not very pratical on the move. Many a time have I used my phone when I am walking down the high street and my fingers have accidently selected something on the screen that I didnt want which is very frustrating. Although I do admit it is very nice to use, especially with the touch screen.
after about 1 month I noticed some concerning issues
When I was in the shop buying the phone to be quite honest it looked awsome but after about 1 month I noticed some concerning issues like it turning itself off when it felt like it (whilst in the middle of something like browsing music files)
The picture taking is quite good quality but the video on this phone is terrible! when you watch back a video you have recorded the sound is about a second out of sync. Its more like two seconds when you have paused the video whilst recording and started again! This is an issue that LG know about but it cannot be fixed because it is down to a low quality processor.
Another issue that has already been raised is the texting. Its a strange problem to have but still its there. When you have nearly completed a word if you touch in between two letters accidentally it highlights and deletes the whole word? But anyway this is reviewing all of the bad features of the phone.
It does have some good features like games and music is ok but a bit slow at loading files. I think people should avoid getting this and get the Samsung Tocco Lite
The phone is nice and slim so can fit in most trouser pockets
Good phone had it now for 9 months, had no major problems with it, can be a little touchey when using the dial out. Would recommend this phone to a friend, my wife also has this phone and cant part her from it. The phone is nice and slim so can fit in most trouser pockets.
it is user friendly with great features
Overall a good smart phone, although there are one or two slight hitches (as with everything!).
The first is the battery life, its quite short depending on how much you use the phone and its features, and it doesn't give you a lot of warning when it is low on battery.
It would have been nice to have a change of colour themes, seing as black and red gets a little boring at times.
The messaging is easy to use, although buttons are quite close together, meaning you accidentally change language/numbers in the middle of a text.
However, it is user friendly with great features and once you get used to it, its okay!
The features of this phone are good however it can be a let down
The features of this phone are good however it can be a let down. Although the camera is decent, there is no flash which for me is an issue. Also this phone, as well as other LG phones, seems to freeze often. There have been times where I've ended up sending the same message ten times due to a fault in the phone. People I know with the same phone experience the same issues. However, the layout of the phone is excellent and if you can put up with the few times it freezes, I would recommend it.
not as large as it seems
I have recently purchased this phone and love it already. It's easy to use, has everything you want from a mobile and more and is very light and stylish.
I did not like the look of it at first when I saw the pictures but it's not as large as it seems. A great mobile, LG is quickly becoming one of my favourite brands!
great but wish the camera had a light or flash
This phone is great but my downfall is the fact that you cant take pictures in a darkened area because it doesn`t have a light, but other than that the overall veiw of the phone is great and I love the built in pen its fantastic and the ability to expand memory is too. The internet is great as well its just like your on a computer itself it shows all the pictures and the links, superb.
easy to use and really compact
Phone is brillant, easy to use and really compact, the graphics on the camera are as good as any digital camera. Only downfall is the battery doesnt last very long and it doesnt give you much warning that it is going to go off, but apart from that a really fab phone.
very nice to look at and good value for money
The LG Cookie phone is a touchscreen mobile phone (stylus included), after using a few times its easy enough to work. Not the most user friendly model of phone I've purchased but I think this is because it has so many features. Trying to remember where all settings are saved can take a while. Overall very nice to look at and good value for money
It is generally a pretty good phone
This phone looks good and is very user friendly. I'm mostly really pleased with it. It takes quite good photos, the phone is easy to hear. It is generally a pretty good phone.
I do have two problems with it however, the first is the battery which while it does last a while it doesn't give you much notice of when it is running low. My old phone would warn me about an hour or so in advance this one is more like half an hour.
The touch screen did take some getting used to - when using the stylus it's fine but the selection buttons on the phone are quite small and so it can be a little difficult to do with your fingers.
Has a good battery that lasts me a good four days
I have this mobile in pink and I like it very much. It's easy to use with a good touch screen, which is of good sensitivity. Has a good battery that lasts me a good four days. The one thing that I find that this phone lacks is the change of theme as I don't like my current red background in the menu.
the camera and video features are well worth the money
This phone looks sleek and sexy. It is lightweight and the screen is a good size. The touch screen can be annoying. It is very sensitive and you may find yourself calling someone without realising while it sits in your pocket. You may also find that while you are texting that it changes language half way through or it will switch to numbers only.
The best features of this phone is the camera and video camera. The quality of the camera is excellent and a digital camera of this quality would cost more than the actual phone.
The sound quality on the video camera is very good for a mobile phone. I took it to a gig and it recorded the sound perfectly with no crackling or anything.
Overall it is a nice looking phone and the camera and video features are well worth the money. However if you are into texting and are quite fast, this could annoy you.
got this phone about 3 months ago and I was very happy with it
I got this phone about 3 months ago and I was very happy with it. Now I am trying my hardest to get another phone. Although it looks very nice and isn't that expensive the usability is very poor.
If you are typing a word and pause for a second it deletes the word. It has a very large delay from the time you click to when it performs what you want it to do.
The camera is extremely poor, it doesn't have a flash and you can't zoom in while you are taking a video. It also restarts itself very often which is very annoying.
All in all a 'fun' model
This phone is both stylish and functional. However, it does have quite a few practical drawbacks.
Firstly, its touch screen design has not been very well thought through. There is no "pen" or other device, so users need to touch the screen with their hands, which means writing text messages and other such things can become very difficult depending on the size of the users hand.
The screen quality also deteriorates quite rapidly due to scratching and lack of adequate reinforcement against this problem provided with the phone.
However, it is easy to access and makes a very good accessory. All in all a 'fun' model, although not suitable for anyone looking for something more than a basic phone.
a touchscreen phone for a very very cheap price
he LG KP500 Cookie is a touchscreen phone for a very very cheap price. It has a large and vivid screen, great for a touchscreen phone. It has a responsive touchscreen, which was not expected as it is cheap. It has very good software and it is also slim and extremely light.
However there is no 3G. There is no autofocus and finally there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.
Overall I would say "LG has baked its Cookie just right"
impressed by the weight, abilities and quality of the handset
I bought a PAYG LG Cookie at a bargain price and expected a bargain phone with poor quality, dull screen but so far have been more than impressed by the weight, abilities and quality of the handset.
The touchscreen is bright and easy to use, the quality of the casing has impressed me, the matt black one is very forgiving and doesn't scratch easily and the different methods of texting, keypad, keyboard, handwriting recognition are so easy to use.
Video camera is nothing special, and there's no flash, but apart from that it's an excellent handset for the money - I paid £42.85 and it's been worth every penny.
for the price this phone is fantastic
I bought this phone for my 12 year old daughter who found it easy to use. However, I found this hard to us, but I got used to it. (possibly a generation thing) The touch screen is very responsive. The video and camera gives good quality footage and pictures. My daughter loves this phone, and for the price this phone is fantastic.
writing a text message and paused for a minute the phone went blank
As a young girl I was excited to get a new mobile phone but very disappointed in its preformance. Being a very active girl the phone was too big to fit into my pocket. Also if I was writing a text message and paused for a minute the phone went blank and I had to unlock it again which was very annoying.
The Camera on the phone wasn't too good, it didn't have a flash, and it doesn't zoom neither does the video you can only zoom a bit before you film. Also the maximum charge was 3 bars and they would stay on that for a day or two but as one went it would be another 15 minutes and your phone would be dead and you wouldn't be able to turn it on.
The memory is expandable to 8GB but you have to buy the memory card for over £20 which is quite annoying because with Sony Ericssons you get one free.
Overall the phone is ok, I wouldn't recommend it but obviously other people will. The only thing I can say is look at the price, no wonder its that low.
it was fine for the first 6 months
Bought this phone about 7 months ago and it was fine for the first 6 months, after this period of time the phone seemed to enjoy restarting itself for no reason which I found very annoying.
Now 7months down the line the phone has a serious problem with sending texts, havent yet figured out why but once the text has been written and the send button has been touched the message just sits in the outbox, eventually flashing you a message saying unable to send text, so you go to your outbox and select the text and (on my phone) it has completely different text from what you typed earlier.
oh...?!?!?! work that out... some texts go through no problem but a lot get stuck in the outbox... very annoying. Also if I've saved a message into my folders section in messaging and go back to re-read it, the phone has replaced all the text with text from a previous text message I either sent or recieved even if the text is from a message I deleted ages ago.
I'm at my wits end with this phone as I cant text back my girlfriend who I havent seen in a while as I have the dreaded glandular fever, I just want to smash it up but know its now my only link to the outside world as I hardly ever leave my bed.
nice little phone for everyday use and great price too
Great value for a touch phone, nice slim design, camera is not so good only 3.0 megapixels and no flash, the only connection to the internet is with gprs no wifi, the touch screen response sometimes is a bit slow. Overall nice little phone for everyday use and great price too.
a decent phone, but not spectacular
This is a decent phone for the money, but it looks tacky and has some interface flaws that cause problems.
First the good points - it has good reception for making and receiving calls, much better than my previous two phones when used in exactly the same locations. And that's really important, some modern phones seem to forget this basic requirement.
The touch screen is responsive, and if fingers are too clumsy, there's a neat little pointer that tucks in to the bottom of the phone. Mostly the interface is good, it is quite simple to access many functions, and the summary page that allows profile switches and to turn bluetooth on and off with one touch is superb. It takes up to an 8GB micro sd memory card, so flexible on storage, though the phone only has 50MB storage itself.
The negatives - the battery life is poor, and the indicator useless - it goes from 2/3 full to empty with barely a stop at 1/3. And once the first low battery warning strikes, forget it - you've got about 15 mins standby time left before it switches itself off completely. The text set-up/menus etc are cumbersome, as is access to one or two of the more minor functions. You can't change the font size of text in messages, and the standard text is large, so prepare for much scrolling.
The camera settings are odd - the standard setting gives pictures a very washed out, almost black and white look, but there doesn't appear to be a way to default it to a warmer setting.
The overall look is a bit tacky - unfashionably rubbery, but at least it's flat and uncluttered.
Overall, it's a decent phone, but not spectacular.
You get what you pay for
The touch screen is not that friendly. It doesn't have lots of applications. Maybe I am disappointed because I was expecting a iPhone. Anyway I only paid £100, which is a fair price for the quality of the phone. You get what you pay for. Better save money for the iPhone.
Got this phone for my 10 year old son and he loves it
Got this phone for my 10 year old son and he loves it. Very large screen with excellent quality for photos and videos. He finds it very easy to use and loved the wand which is attached for touch screen. The radio is an excellent additional feature and the sound qualty is spot on
the phone looks sleek and fancy
Although the phone looks sleek and fancy, I bought into the touch screen market too early - before they had time to 'iron out the creases'. The phone sticks, freezes and goes very slowly a lot of the time which can be annoying when texting.
You will need an external memory card if purchasing this phone as the built in memory is quite small. Also the camera doesn't have a flash. Despite my negativity, it is a cheaper alternative to, say, the iPhone and hopefully newer LG models will have all the good features of this phone with none of the bad.
in artificial light the pictures can come out grainy
I have just recently upgraded to the LG Cookie. I've found this phone extremely easy to use even without reading the instructions. The stylus is a fantastic extra making navigating around the phone a pleasure. The only let down is the camera, in artificial light the pictures can come out grainy and not very colourful. Apart from that this phone is very good, I would recommend.
picture quality is good, but you are unable to zoom in
This is an easy phone to use and has many features that are simple. Texting is quick, you can either use hand write or use touch pad. My only problem with this phone is the camera, the picture quality is good, but you are unable to zoom in, so this does spoil some of the photos I could have had of my son
camera is not brilliant but all other features are great
I was unsure at first, the Cookie seemed to get poor reviews, but I went ahead and ordered it anyway. So glad I did, it is a brilliant phone.
It froze on me twice whilst I was setting it up, but has been faultless since, had it for 6 months now. The camera is not brilliant but all other features are great and it is so easy to use. I just love the touch screen.
Hubby hates it, but he has sausage fingers, and anyway means he wont use up my credit. The battery life is brilliant by the way, found it better to run down rather than trickle charge it.
everything I wanted in a phone from a organiser to a perfect video camera
I loved this phone, it had everything I wanted in a phone from a organiser to a perfect video camera. It was cheap and was basically the same as its sister LG Arena but missing few features. Easy to use it was even energy saving, as it told me everytime to unplug the phone to save energy so it was good to environment.
I am pleased with the features and usability
The LG Cookie is a good sized mobile phone with a touch screen. It is very easy to use, even if you've never used a touch screen phone before and is also small enough to be comfortably carried in your pocket unlike other touch screen phones.
I've had my Cookie for around 6 months now and the only real complaints I have is that the software can occasionally be a bit slow, especially when writing a text message or rotating the phone (which toggles full keyboard in landscape mode and keypad in portrait) and the unlock button is a strange idea. Surely requiring at least 2 key presses is the way to go - not 1 that can be pressed in your pocket unlocking the phone.
Overall, I am pleased with the features and usability of the Cookie and would recommend it as a cheap first touch screen mobile.
Great start to a touchscreen
I absolutely love this phone. The LG Cookie is an ideal start to using a touchscreen handset. I did read reviews etc before buying and was a little cautious but can honestly recommend this to anyone.
The camera is easy to use, downloading music couldn't be easier. I haven't experienced any problems at all. Absolutely love it!!!
Need a memory card
I was so excited about getting this phone, got a brilliant contract deal with it and for the first few weeks of getting this phone, I was addicted.
Though, since I have got a memory card and loaded music onto it, taken a fair few pictures and downloaded a few games, the phone seems unbelievably slow! Texting is 4/10, as sometimes the phone doesn't register your fingers on the screen until its thought for about 5 minutes. Camera is good, if you only take photos in daylight as there is no flash. Software is similar to the iPhone, but a very cheap alternative.
really good looking phone with lots of useful functions
This is a really good looking phone with lots of useful functions. Camera. Download music and use as MP3. You can also buy a MicroSd card upto 8GB to store music, photographs and other useful information on. Good camera and sound. Be careful when using stick to play games can scratch surface (Use Protective screens)
It's got everything it needs
If you're looking at reviews, for help on whether you should buy the LG cookie phone or not. Then this could help - I hope it does. Well, My person view is:
The phone is great, the touchscreen and all the features that are involved with the phone make it as good as it is. The camera is good and the editing is good too. It's got everything it needs.
Apart from a few slightly annoying things that are occuring on my LG cookie, and many others..
1.. Sometimes the phonee freezes and you have to restart it. 2.. I keep losing the sound, and it wont play music, my phone wont ring, text messages wont be alerted, and this is really annoying.
This is happening every other day, and I'm begining to get fed up with it. All in all though a lovely phone.
Overall - I think this represents brilliant value for money
This mobile phone is excellent, I recently purchased this as a 2nd mobile phone for work purposes, however, I now use this as my own personal phone.
Its very easy to use in comparison to other touch screen phones and has a lot of easy to use and useful features.
I like the option when texting to use the traditional method of a normal phone key pad on screen or the option to turn the phone round and use it like a 'qwerty' keyboard.
Overall - I think this represents brilliant value for money if you are after a touch screen phone and is more user friendly and reliable than some of the others in the market.
The power down and lock mode come in too quick
The LG Cookie has a lot of good features which help people who are computer literate and not phone literate. For instance when you write a text you just need to turn the phone on its side and you get a QWERTY keyboard.
On the other hand it is difficult to get the keypad when you make a phone call and have to punch in all numbers to get to the department you want. The phone just goes into lock mode after you make a call. The power down and lock mode come in too quick and I cannot find a way of altering the timing.
very thin sleek lightweight handset and easy to carry around
The Cookie handset is a very stylish handset with some great features, like paint and memo. The phone is a very thin sleek lightweight handset and easy to carry around. The phone has some great things to use on it with a great camera, video recording, built in mp3 and the music quality is great. However the touch screen can make it hard to use at first.
really good for texting and comes with a pen thingy
I have had this phone a couple of weeks now as an upgrade from the LG chocolate phone. This phone is bigger but really easy to use and I love it.
Not really into phones but really do like this one, the camera is really good, its 3.0mp but I prefer it to my actual camera. Its really good for texting and comes with a pen thingy which fits into the phone.
Also has the usual features - games, radio, calendar, alarm clock, world clock, calculator. The battery lasts a really long time.
Only thing I don't like is that you have to keep unlocking it and it locks really quickly which can be a pain when you are texting and pause for a few seconds, maybe I can change the timing on this though, I highly recommend.
relatively easy to operate, the camera is of a good standard
Overall this phone is relatively easy to operate, the camera is of a good standard, however I have had some issues with freezing and the phone sometimes seems to struggling keeping up when texting. The phone seems very sturdy and withholds the minor damage.
recommend this mobile to anyone wanting an affordable touchscreen phone
The LG Cookie is a good touch screen mobile phone. It is easy to use and easy to navigate around. The phone is at an affordable price, which is always a plus. Lots of great features and the stylus pen undoubtably adds that extra quality to the touch screen. I would definitely recommend this mobile to anyone wanting an affordable touchscreen phone!
the internet is great even though it isn't 3g
This LG phone is brilliant, good touch screen, the camera is only 3mp but it still is very good, the internet is great even though it isn't 3g!!! The only problem I have is the scrolling, its a bit rubbish, you scroll a little bit but it goes down soooo fast! And also the message tone you can't really have tunes as its only 15 seconds long but apart from that its an all round good phone.
disappointing that you're stuck with only one preset theme.
I've owned this phone for 6 months and have to say that it hasn't lived up to my expectations. The phone is easy to navigate and is designed well. It is disappointing, however, that you're stuck with only one preset theme. Also, the majority of times I turn the phone off, it resets itself completely when switching on.
I particulary like the optical character recognition
The phone is very easy to understand. It has a great range of features avaliable. I particulary like the optical character recognition which enables you to write text messages by writing in the space provided.
It also has a good quality camera/camcorder that is useful when you have noting else to use.
At first I really enjoyed using the phone
At first I really enjoyed using the phone and I found it very easy to use, but after a couple of months it would freeze a lot. But now eveytime I go to view a message the phone switches itself off then on again. It did it to me 10 times in 5 minutes, just my handset or same for everyone else?
If it breaks under this little pressure then the phone is not fit for purpose
I bought the phone in march. I had it for about 2 weeks when it turned off. I tried to turn it back on again when a small crack on the inside of the sreen appeared. There was no damage to the outside screen.
I took it back to the shop it was bought from and I was told that it was caused by pressure, also that just by pushing it with your finger could do such damage. If it breaks under this little pressure then the phone is not fit for purpose and cannot be used in everyday life.
touchscreen is easy to use, and its really easy to navigate around
A brilliant phone for the price! I received it as a birthday present last month, and so far have only found one weakness - no flash on the camera! That's the only problem! The touchscreen is easy to use, and its really easy to navigate around the menu. For a budget touch screen phone, LG havent gone far wrong!
touch screen texting is quite tricky at first
Recently got an LG Cookie on a contract deal. Was quite impressed with the phone when I first saw it. It is quite light, very slim and looks good with its black case and large screen.
After using it for a week I have found a few problems with it. Firstly touch screen texting is quite tricky at first, its especially tricky if you do not use the stylus (touchscreen pen) supplied. Using your fingers seems to be difficult because hitting the wrong key seems to be a major problem, even after the phone has been calibrated for the touch points.
Another problem I have found is that the phone goes of quite easily in my pocket, the reason being is that a one button touch is all that is required to unlock the functions on your phone and unfortunately several of my family and friends have received unwanted calls during the early hours etc.
This obviously is a major problem and I'm just glad that I have unlimited minutes on my contract because this could get costly. So on these issues I cannot recommmend the LG Cookie. I shall not go into the features of the phone as they are overshadowed by its faults.
I would recommend to buy a protective plastic cover for the screen
I have just traded in my old mobile phone for a LG Cookie on PAYG. It cost me £97 on Orange. It is touchscreen and easy to navigate. I would recommend to buy a protective plastic cover for the screen though as they are easily scratched. It is easy to use the online services and quite reasonable on Orange. Good phone.
phone looks good and operates well
This phone looks good and operates well. However, you need the stylus (supplied) unless you have good fingernails because the touch areas are small and a large finger can easily touch the wrong key.
There's a good choice of ringtones with it and good web access although a tad slow. My phone had to be rebooted once as there was a software problem, but now its fine. Its a techie phone and takes a while to get used to, but overall, a good phone and with good features for the £100 I paid for it.
still enjoying the phone and I have no intention of changing it
This is a smart budget alternative to the iPhone, but it does have its share of problems in that texting is no longer the joy it was and for some reason the memory keeps crashing. This seems to be a common fault with this model.
I am still enjoying the phone and I have no intention of changing it so I dont want to paint a gloomy image of it. Its a great gadget and viewing and organising your files is easy. It also comes with a great yahtzee game, where you shake the phone to shake the dice, cool.
Overall, great phone at a very reasonable price
This phone is fantastic. I've been using it for about a month and I am still discovering new features! I really enjoy using features like the querty keyboard for texting and the speed dial screen. Some of these can save a lot of time.
Also, one thing I particularly enjoy is the drawing panel as it is very versatile and a few mates have created some really artistic designs using it that I never thought possible. Overall, great phone at a very reasonable price.
absolutely love this phone and thoroughly recommend it
A great quality touch screen phone thats much cheaper than others such as the iPhone. The 3mega pixel camera takes great quality photos and I love the drawing panel which is like a very simple microsoft paint like program and provides me with hours of fun.
The battery life is excellent and usually lasts me around three days. The only downside is the amount of reflection you get from the screen when outside - sometimes this makes it hard to text. Also I find texting works better when using the stylus pen provided rather than your fingertips as the 'keys' are just slightly too small.
I absolutely love this phone and thoroughly recommend it. I have been a Nokia user for the past 10 years but don't think I'd go back after six months of using the LG cookie.
the clear button is close to the others
This is a nice slim phone but the texting is a bit difficult as the clear button is close to the others, therefore you write your message press clear by mistake and dont realise until after, thats the only bad point I can find. Oh it crashes as well so you lose all saved text messages.
Excellent price for a variety of features
Great features, love the pen to navigate the touch screen. Excellent size screen and a variety of new features. Excellent price for a variety of features on the mobile. Would definitely recommend this phone to a friend. Overall a good touchscreen phone to purchase.
was suprising it had so many features
I really like the overall design of this phone. It was suprising it had so many features of a more expensive phone at such a lower price. However, this lead to many faults... The phone turned off every time I went on to contacts, it occasionally restarts and it recently froze so I had to take out the battery. Ignore these faults and you have a wonderful phone!
easier to use than I first thought it would be
Stylish and neat phone, easier to use than I first thought it would be. Good quality sound and durable considering how thin it is. Has frozen a couple of times during texting which is apparently a common fault with these handsets but apart from that a really good phone.
is brilliant, photos music, extra memory storage
I love this phone but the only thing is I have had problems with the screen blacking out and freezing. Been checked but no problems found. Other than that, it is brilliant, photos music, extra memory storage.
It is better to use the stylus as sometimes, fingers just too fat to make the scroller up and down!(and my fingers are boney!)
did not cost the earth but has all the functions of a more expensive phone
I love this phone, does everything I want it to do from making calls, texting, has a brilliant camera and most importantly brilliant for games. So for me a briliant phone, that did not cost the earth but had all the functions of a much more expensive phone, my first LG but definitely wont be the last.
good phone, nice and light, had no problems with the touch screen
It's a good phone, nice and light, had no problems with the touch screen (apart from finger prints). It has some good games made interesting with the screen and shaking. I had some problems at first with texting as the predictive text is limited but its alright after a while when you have added extra words. Overall I really like this phone.
For the price this is a superb piece of kit
For the price this is a superb piece of kit. Touch screen and really easy to use. If you want to show off by not spending a fortune then this is the phone for you. It looks great, the only down sides are that it only has a 3.2 M pixel camera which you would expect to be better on a phone of this kind and it has no 3G. I like it though and think for the price it is a bargain.
had this phone for two weeks now and its wonderful
I've had this phone for two weeks now and its wonderful, I love the touchscreen, very clear and the phone has lots of features you will not be disappointed. The only thing I do not like is the camera, the pictures it takes arent very good, but overall I would recommend the LG Cookie.
you would not be disappointed with the LG cookie
Just got the phone today and pleased to report that after 4 hours of solid use my opinion on the phone is that it is fantastic.
A great clear screen, touchscreen is very responsive and a great range of features for the price of it. I would recommend that if you are looking for a mid range phone you would not be disappointed with the LG cookie.
