LG U970 Shine Overview
The LG U970 Shine 3G phone is a variation of the popular KE970 Shine. The U970 has a mirror LCD screen and comes in a luxurious stainless steel casing. The phone has a 2 megapixel camera, video record/playback, MP3 Player, web browser and 512MB of internal memory. The large screen provides up to 262,000 colours for the user to enjoy a clear and colourful viewing experience. The navigation is easy to use with its multi-functional scroll wheel and the slide opening mechanism is easy to operate.

Design Features Usabilityouter mirrored surface is beautiful but marks really easily
I have had this phone for the past year, it is ok to use and looks brilliant but I had massive problems with its signal coverage, this was possibly down to the network, but my husband was on the same network and he had signals in areas I didnt, so not sure if a fault with the phone.
The outer mirrored surface is beautiful but marks really easily so I was forever cleaning it, the top corners chipped really easily and I'm not heavy handed with phones, my parents have one of these handsets each and have had no problems, so guess I was unlucky, but it would put me off having another despite its good looks.

Features UsabilityEasy to use menu and simple functions
A stylish, sleak looking phone, with easy to use menu and simple functions. Mirrored screen which is difficult to see in sunlight and unfortunately all of the casing scratches easily. The scroll bar is a little awkward to use at first but you soon get used to it. Not much memory for storing music, but holds plenty of photos. As for the camera, I found it a bit of a pain to use and the clarity isn't that great.

UsabilityThe roller design is difficult to manage
The phone is big and bulky, the roller design is difficult to manage and you need dainty fingers otherwise you will end up rolling everywhere.
The keyboard is quite well presented, but again, a negative aspect I found that was as the numbers were flat you had to be careful not to dial the wrong number.
Whether mine was just one of those things but the phone went wrong after 3 months, the phone would not switch off unless you took out the battery.

A truly Beautiful handset, while although a bit fiddly, can really be a good phone in the way of features as well!

The lg shine has been a good mobile phone which has not let me down. I sometimes find it a bit fiddley but there is no doubt this is a great mobile phone and lg have done a fantastic job.
My next mobile will probably be another lg. I do fancy one of their touch screen phones bit like the prada.
Overall im pleased with my lg shine.
