LG GW620 Reviews

The LG GW620 is the first Android device from the Korean manufacturer, and features a strong set of features. The Android OS offers a stable operating platform, allowing for the download and installation of a wide variety of applications. Incorporating a full slide out QWERTY keyboard, the LG GW620 delivers to the needs of those who rely on their handsets for more than just calls. Interfacing with the device is done via the large 3 inch TFT touchscreen, and icons look crisp and sharp on the main display. The LG GW620 also delivers with a 5.0 Megapixel camera, with on board video and photo editor, plus media player, FM radio, GPS, WiFi and HSDPA Mobile Broadband.
It's just great and so easy to use
Just bought this phone a week ago from T-Mobile, and I love it. It's so easy to text with and it the best phone I've ever bought!
I've just ordered a case and screen protector for it and even though the phone is new there is a great choice of accessories for the phone.
It's just great and so easy to use, I'd recommend it to anyone!
Very easy to link to my wifi and lightening fast now that it is connected.
This phone does everything except the washing up. It's my first smart-phone so I might be a bit behind times. Very easy to link to my wifi and lightening fast now that it is connected.
Plenty of storage in the phone already for adding loads of easily accessible apps at the press of the screen. Takes a bit of getting used to holding, as wrong clicks are easily made.
the quality of the phone in general is superb.
Having got this phone on contract a few days ago, I have to say I am impressed. It's relatively light in weight, it's stylish with quite a decent camera. The speaker for music isn't bad either and the quality of the phone in general is superb.
The internal memory could be bigger, and the battery life could be longer but other than that it is perfect as a first time touch screen phone as you still have a keypad to use as well.
So for those that send emails, check shares on the internet, and message often and just call then this is the phone for you. If you are wanting to take pictures and listen to music constantly on it then the battery won't last more than a day so I'd look for something else.
Though it's a great phone overall.
I have never had a phone that was so much fun to use as this one
Had the LG GW620 for two weeks and I have to say that I have never had a phone that was so much fun to use as this one. Perhaps its the Android application and the fact that I can get just about any type of software from the Android market I want (Most for free)
The phone it self is very pleasing to the eye whilst still being a good size and weight. The slide out keyboard is a really good thing especially when you need to type a lot for an email or message.
The touch screen is fairly good but I have noticed at times that it can take more than one tap to activate a function; I suppose it could be a little more responsive. The battery life is average with a maximum of two days life on moderate use, comparing this to my previous phone which was five days. The battery life can be improved if you switch of the 3g network and reduce the push email syncing.
Overall if you are looking for a cheap smart phone then you can't go wrong with the LG GW620. Just remember if you are looking for a phone to sync with your windows PC then this phone will not be right for you.
I just bought one and I LOVE it
I just bought one and I LOVE it. I went from a Blackberry (no touchscreen) but was never sold on the iPhone, so waited until another option was available. I actually went to the store to buy a Palm Pre but when I looked at the LG, there was no comparison and bought one right away.
The touchscreen takes a little getting used to and I'm still trying to navigate efficiently through the features. Switching between opened apps still confuses me but I'm sure i will learn in time. Ties in very nicely with gmail and my other pop3 email accounts, lists accounts seperately and show how many new e-mails are in each account.
I'm still learning on how to hold the thing, there are only 3 buttons on the face when keyboard is folded in and two of them are very sensitive. I keep hitting the back button by mistake. The screen seems a little vulnerable to me, not sure if I can get a skin for it or a protective plastic coating of some sort.
