Blackberry 8300 Curve Overview

The Blackberry 8300 Curve is the lightest and smallest blackberry handset around to date. It features a powerful 312MHz Intel processor, a compact QWERTY keypad, has an internal memory of 64MB and there is a MicroSD card slot. The phone also has a 2 megapixel camera with flash and 5x zoom, Bluetooth, MP3, video player and much more. The Navigation around the handset is simple to use with BlackBerry's unique 5-way trackball. Overall the Blackberry 8300 is a smart looking and well featured business phone.

keys are a bit small and I really struggle to type with it

The Blackberry 8300 Curve features a push e-mail service (making your e-mails as instant as text messages), an excellent camera, calendar feature, MP3 and video player, and browser application, just to name a few. You can easily download new applications. Some useful ones are Facebook and Google Earth, which can both be downloaded for free.

I really like the Curves design. My only flaw is that the keys are a bit small and I really struggle to type with it. They could have been spaced out a little more, however then it wouldn't be small enough to put in your pocket. It's quite light too, especially compared with something like a Sidekick.

Personally I didn't like it. I thought it was big, bulky and awkward

The Americans that I know are going mad over these Blackberry phones and this was one of the models that I saw. Personally I didn't like it. I thought it was big, bulky and awkward to store.

Granted it has excellent features and I can see the appeal of the keypad, but I like my phones to be sleek and sexy which this is neither. I love being able to put my phone in my pocket and not notice it is there until I need it, this phone is just too big for that.
