Recently purchased and still recovering from setting up phone. Very nice to use but difficult to set up the Skype account (especially finding a username that is still available) Packed with lots of features and very helpful instruction guide & includes 256mb memory card. Would recommend to someone with a lot of patience...

A damn decent phone letting you use Skype on the move. You can use it on any Wi-Fi hotspot. It is light and portable and comes in a variety of colours. A useful tool for day to day or business use and best of all Skype to Skype is free. Top up's are made via Luxembourg for cheapest VAT. Phone USA for 1c/minute.

The first thing I noticed about this phone is how slimline and sexy it looks and feels in the palm of the hand. The picture makes it look big and bulky, which couldnt be further from the truth. The screen is bright and colourful with an extremely good resolution for crisp clear images and colours.
I purchased mine brand new for £34.99 and what a bargain, I use it as a PAYG phone, backup for my main phone and wished I hadnt taken a 2 year contract with my other provider as I would have used this instead.
For £34.99 I got a very good solid build quality phone, yes its plastic but what mobile phone isnt these days unless your paying £100's of pounds or more, they all plastic in some form or another.
Anyway, I found the battery life to be more than reasonable, in fact its very good on my handset, just remember to fully charge it when you receive the phone. What you will notice is that it doesnt have all the bells and whistle that many high end phones have, but it has most of the run-of-the-mill functions and tools. Calc, Alarm, Notepad, Calendar, Stopwatch etc to name but a few. It also has a 2MP camera built in which can also be used as a video recorder, oh and it also has Bluetooth.
And the main selling point of this is the FREE use of the airwaves to use Skype, so if any of your friends has Skype on their phone (doesnt have to be the same model of phone just Skype software) or on their PC then you can call them anytime and anywhere on this phone. As it doesnt use WiFi there is no extra battery drain, it uses the 3G Mobile network data connection (for which there is no charge thats why its FREE!).
The downsides? None that I can grumble about, the only thing that it doesnt state in the description is that you cannot use SkypeOut, which makes sense as it would clash with 3G using their network in terms of calls, for phone calls, that is where you have to dial a phone number then you can only use the Three's 3G network to call (either on PAYG or Contract) the FREE Skype is only Skype-to-Skype users but as many more mobile phones are now becoming Skype compatible and that the Skype software is actually free to download and set up on your PC then if your mates have Skype you wont need to make many calls in the first place.
Basically, if you want to take advantage of SkypeOut then this phone is not for you, your better of with a USB or WiFi Skype phone. However thats the only grumble I can find with this phone. Its ideal for those night outs, for taking snaps and calling mates.
Its slick, its sexy and I cant believe its on sale for £34.99! Some other phones I have evaluated at double or treble this price and arent as good as this phone.
Overall I've given it 5 Stars because it does what it says on the tin and it look and feels good. Well worth the money and I'd love to see the concept being improved upon by other operators as well.
Please note that you also get a 3G(Three) PAYG SIM Card, Mains Charger, a USB Data Cable, a 3 hands-free headphone kit and also a 256Mb MicroSD Card as well, you really cant complain at all.

For me, this is a great phone. As a student, I've saved a lot of money by getting this phone on a contract. Contacting my family and friends at home has been made so much cheaper by using this phone.
The phone is pretty intuitive and very easy to use. It seems like it should chip and dent if you drop it, but I've been quite impressed with how many times I've managed to drop it, and it still looks like new.
The buttons seem better than those on the S2 (I've used an S2 that a friend has), and several months of intensive use haven't ruined the buttons/made them harder to press, as has happened with previous phones.
Overall, this is a great phone to have for anyone, but I would definitely recommend it to hard-up students, especially as you can also get MSN on the phone as well.

This isnt the best phone but if your a lover of Skype its ideal. Although the speed of the call is good quality this can also depend on the speed of the internet, the call quality can be quite poor. It does have some nifty little features and a really good quality design though.

Great phone, if a little on the flimsy side. The back cover mangnetic part is great but needs to be stronger as its effectiveness wears off after a while. Being able to check your monthly usage for free however is a great facility, especially when you're on a budget & don't want to overspend, overall its a great phone & I would not hesitate in recommending it to my friends.

The Skype features make this a hugely handy phone when on the go, allowing any of your mates to contact you for free when you are away from your pc. A £10 minimum monthly credit is required but this covers any calls you would need to make that are not covered by Skype.
The camera and video are excellent quality and even re-orients the picture if you need to turn the camera to get all the subject in the picture.

Very good phone. I've had mine for two days and I love it. Has a very good camera and a good mp3 player very easy to use worth buying for £50.
You get a lot for your money. The only downside is that 3 dont do a 3 epay topup swipe card to which I think they should do.
But if ur looking for a cheap mobile on a budget I do recommend this 3 skype phone. I even got to try it out b4 I made my purchase in the 3 shop to make my mind up.
