The budget class Nokia 1202 is designed for emerging markets and users who want less fuss on their mobile device. The 1202 is a compact handset, weighing in at less than 80g and has a tight monochrome display. This certainly helps with battery standby, with the 1202 quoting standby times of up to 642 hours. The 1202 has a well spaced keypad, making texting very comfortable. Navigation through the menu is Nokia simple, with all main menu items represented by a clear icon. Menu navigation is laid out in a carousel design, and the device uses a five way Navi key with two soft option menu keys for selection. As well as having a built in personal organiser, the 1202 also incorporates a bright LED torch.
