I needed a phone with web and email access with an easy to use navigation system. I looked at Blackberry but they appeared to technical, E71 was first choice but then they released the E72, the decision was easy. Only problem I have found was with AOL mail, not fully supported so changed to MSN live. No problems since, but time will tell.
