I think its a good phone as most apps you can download are free. Many of its current problems (youtube and google maps) have evidently been fixed in the latest Android update which should arrive in the UK shortly.

Its a sleek and elegant phone with a feel of class. It may never outpace the iPhone but its certainly a lot cheaper and it comes with a better camera than the iPhone.

It is far slower than the G1 and many applications that run fine on the G1 are met with constant messages e.g. It's impossible to locate your exact position with Google maps.

The camera is ok but useless as its Picture Gallery does not load or is too slow to load and with nothing to compensate the absence of flash, taking images in evening light is impossible.

Bluetooth connectivity simply does not work. Text input is almost impossible when the word suggestion feature is not available i.e. when you search. Constant error messages and bugs prevent you from watching youtube videos on it.

Calls simply cut off half way through a conversation and perhaps its worst feature is the screen will freeze when you are trying to end a call meaning that sometimes the only way to avoid a large bill is to remove the battery and reboot the system (which takes longer than our office PC reboot).

This phone is a nightmare which is a shame as the G1 was a good phone.

When I first received the phone I found it to be so sensitive, not difficult to use but it took some getting used to. The camera is excellent, the pictures are crisp and clear.

It has internet access which was quite convenient, there are other services that are very useful. The music player is brilliant, you can play your favourite song whilst talking to someone. You can also record your calls, which was handy.

Speaker phone is extremely clear at quite a distance. Its just like a pocket diary, it fits perfectly in my pocket. Otherwise it is a good phone, it looks good, sounds great and is useful for me.

The G2 Touch is very slow at opening my applications, the screen freeze's all the time, you are unable to send or recieve any media items via bluetooth. The battery life is even worse and if your lucky will only last for 1 day. The only good thing about this phone is that it has a 3.5mm jack so you can plug your speakers in.
