Good points are that the phone is very durable and easy to use. I work in a construction environment and this phone has lasted the pace for more than 2 years. It's interface is the usual Nokia straightforward setup with all icons displayed within a touch of a button. If you don't fancy a touchscreen phone then this phone will be ok for you. The battery lasts on average around 2-3 days. The bad points are mainly in the volume when receiving phone calls. Although the volume was turned up to the maximum I struggled to sometimes hear conversations particularly in busy environments. the camera is also limited and can be damaged/scratched quite easy. Overall I would recommend this phone for a back-up/work phone but not for everyday personal use.

Small compact slide phone. Very clear colour screen, my girlfriend loves the coral and fishes wallpaper. Fairly easy to type in text but larger fingered person might just struggle. All round good design for a small phone. Voice reception can be snorkeled at times, camera and video are adequate, other phones can have better performance. There are lots of other Internet, social network and games features which work but I have no use for them. Ovi maps can be useful but I have not used it enough to do it justice. Battery life is average and will last for a few days. I have had it over two years living in my trouser pocket and it has not deteriorated at all. So its a fairly tough little phone for someone who wants a phone with potential to use other features. I need a touch screen phone hence my reason for putting this one aside as my spare.

Nice handy slide phone packed full of features. Quad phone, fm radio, mp3 player, handles upto 16Gb sd, 5mp cameras front and back, very good for both pictures and videos, bluetooth, WAP and internet connection.
Nice large 2 and 1/2 inch colour screen and easy menu to follow. Download many applications and also Nokia Maps. The keyboard is a bit small for my hands but I can still type and text quite easily.
Battery lasts for three days with a little use. I have now had it for about a month, its very similar to my old Samsung D900 with a shade more features. Outside signal strength is always good and voice very clear.
Overall a very nice compact phone that can be taken anywhere in the world.

Great looking phone, with lovely features. But I agree the black sleep screen is annoying and cannot seem to be amended.
Biggest issue for me is the lack of battery charge. Even with minimal use, the battery only seems to last 2-3 days. I just converted from a much older Samsung and this held its charge for significantly longer. Very disappointed with that and thinking of returning the phone, as am still in cooling-off period, and reverting back to a Samsung.
Would not recommend this phone; nice to look at, but inpractical.

Good looking phone, quite simple to navigate but uncomfortable to use.
I got the nokia 6600i as an upgrade. After testing it for an hour I feel it's not for me. I like things straight forward and comfortable, something I can use without being overly cautious.
If the look of the phone is what you are after it looks good, also has a rather nice camera if thats important to you. The menu is also quite simple to use.
Now for what I don't like. As a previous reviewer mentioned the screen going black too quickly, this is annoying. It is rather heavy for a small phone. The way it rests when texting makes it feel as if it will topple over and break due to weight of the large screen, area on one end and the small keypad area on the other. That said, its the 1st slide phone i've used so it might just be a generic slide phone issue.
It has a lot of metal so the battery heating up can be felt, not too good for any heated conversations, which brings me to the final point. I can't seem to find the loudspeaker/speakerphone key (if it exists) which does not help if you want to move the phone away from your ear quickly during use.
Personally I think the problem with simple phones wanting to look more like their complex counterparts spoils the experience and value of simplicity. So now I'll be considering an ancient phone for regular mobile phone use and if/when I need the web on my phone I'll purchase a real internet phone and not one of these 'wannabe' types.
