Nokia 6720 Classic User Reviews

Having renewed my phone contract to include the 6720 4 weeks ago, I have had it in my possession less than a week as it was put in for repairs 2 days later with intermittent power issues.

The Nokia service centre said they could not identify the fault so returned it to the sale store and as I went to pick it up, it would not turn on. So back to service centre it went, this time for 2 weeks and when it was returned it stayed on for 3days and now it will not switch on at all.

Now it is an expensive attractive paper weight.

I was stoked with my 6720. It's overall design and ease of use was fantastic. However 7 days after I bought it the screen went black and upon further inspection I observed that the LCD screen had cracked in the bottom right corner.

I thought this strange as the phone had not been dropped or knocked in any way and was fine when I put it on the charger before going to bed the previous night. The problem has not been resolved and Nokia state I'm at fault as they believe its impact damage.

So for me, the phone was great but the durability is questionable either that or the screws were done up too tight on the LCD screen. Do yourself a favour though and have a good look at one. I've just got to get to the bottom of this phone first.

A very understated phone with all the usual s60 features, except not compatible with Ovi store, which seems very odd. If the screen was larger this would be a top rate phone for a reasonable price, I cannot understand why everyone is pushing the 6700 classic, I have had both and the 6720 is far superior.
