One of the best mobile phones I have ever had.
Great screen resolution, very good camera. The GPS function is good for a mobile phone, but I would not recommend that handset for a greater journey. For short trips in town or even for a good walk in the city it can be a big help. Once It took me out from Central London , so I cannot have a bad word for it :)
I use the Internet very often on my mobile, and it can be slow by using mobile Internet, but it's a lot better on wifi connection.
Reliable mobile, I can recommend for everyone who needs a multitask smart phone.

Main issue with the phone for me is the clunky use of the Internet, inputting searches, resizing screens - just not intuitive or user friendly compared to other products on the market - hence low usability score.
While the phone offers many other features I have to admit I do not use phone for its music capabilities and the others are pretty standard for phones nowadays and therefore cant comment on them.
However the camera, 3.2 mega pixels, Zeiss lens, performs very well and the use of phone for basic text / calls etc is fine and it has shaken off the odd knock and bump over last 18 months without any problems.

Good service was found at Nokia when i needed to have it repaired, the bad thing was that it was just showing pixels on the screen. They replaced the screen and it works like new now. I use my phone on a daily basis to keep in touch with family and friends. Mostly calling but sometimes texting. I dont use a lot of the features as I am quite a novice phone user. I dont access the internet as my tariff would charge me too much, but I am sure it would be easy to do. I like the touch screen and I dont always use the pen provided as it is easy to use your finger instead.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is quite an impressive phone with many features. Although it takes a while to become au-fait with all the features offered, once competent with it, it's easy to use and should cater for most people's needs. Battery life isn't bad either, unless you have the phone strapped to your ear all day! The inclusion of Nokia Ovi - Free GPS & Maps etc 'for life' is a big plus. It has a good sized, clear screen.
The touchscreen usually works well, although occasionally responses can be a little sluggish. I use it to surf the Internet at times and I'm not overly impressed with the speed of connection and sometimes it can be a bit hit or miss, but it's handy to have it, all the same. There's a lot to this phone - it's the first touchscreen I've owned, I've had it for a year, am overall very happy with it and would recommend it as a good all-rounder.

The phone is easy to use and has the added features of a good music device. I am able to use it when out walking or my daughter borrows it to go out running with. I like the layout and the touchscreen ability, as an older user I found that I was able to easily grasp the use of the phone and it does everything that I need. At first I missed using my predict text but now I love the qwerty board and it means a) people know what I'm saying and b) it is so much quicker. Having both the plectrum and the stylus enable me to use the phone everywhere. I have however lost the stylus once as it does become loser over time but as you can replace them it wasn't too bad.
It is easy to play games on and I find that the battery life lasts really well though it depends on what you use it for. I charge mine every couple of days or so.
I did have a problem with this at first as whenever I turned it off, when I restarted it, it would not go onto the log on screen. I took it around various shops who were not helpful. However I worked out that you had to turn it on and then press on again and wait. Not the best feature but as I rarely turn it off now it does the job.
I would recommend this to people of all ages, though I can only talk about it from an older perspective, my grandson has one and loves his.
