I have had this phone for 18 months and it has never caused me any frustration. It's so easy to use! The camera is brilliant and the storage space is more than enough. It is very sturdy and will not break easily if dropped. I use the phone on a daily basis for all uses including phone calls, texting, internet use and taking photographs/video recordings. I find it very easy to adapt to and just the right size to fit in your pocket. The battery life is fantastic, if it is showing as half full in the morning and I don't have the time to charge it I won't have to worry about the battery life dying, it will last like that for another day or 2. I have one problem with the speakers on this phone whereby I couldn't hear anything anyone on the other end of the phone was saying unless I changed the call to loud speaker. The problem was easily fixable and this may well have been created by my own faulty use of the phone.

The C905's main feature is the 8.1MP Camera, a simply superb quality camera on a mobile phone. I'm able to take pictures of objects quite far away and then afterwards customise the shot by zooming in still maintaining great quality. The battery lasts a long time which is what you would expect from a Sony Ericsson. The other point I wanted to mention was whilst the phone seems an expensive camera phone it is also very durable, especially surviving the drops and kicks I have given the phone over the last 12 months. Still works great, will be hard to upgrade from.

Probably the best phone I've used since the days of my trusty Nokia 3210.
The main attraction to this handset, for me anyway, was the camera. I've had a stack ace pics taken on this that come out great on screen and printed. Helped I'm sure by the fact it sports a real flash, something that seems to be getting rarer these days.
Secondly I was attracted to the slide design because I was fed up of calling people in my pocket. Slider covers keys so don't get pressed in pocket, phone bill doesn't come to a 3 figure sum every month.
Wi-fi was another thing I fancied and that too worked well on the C905 picking up networks from across the street, it had no problem connecting and staying connected to my own.
With updates from the SE site there are a good few additional features added since it's release. Walkmate (a pedometer), Google maps although I've yet to master this, along with all the usual ones you'd expect. In fact you'd be forgiven for thinking this was a smart-phone, but it sadly isn't.
One thing is apparent on this phone and if you search the term 'c905 earpiece' you'll see what I mean. There are thousands and thousands of reports of the earpice failing after a short period after purchase. Mine has packed in 3 times in the 1st 14 months, which to me is unacceptable.
Basically this is an absolute corker of a phone, when it works.
Some have been lucky, I know 2 or 3 people who've used this for as long as I have and had no problem at all. It's true the internet doesn't show as much good news as bad, and as a result the most of the C905 stories you'll read are bad simply because if a user is happy with their phone, they won't be searching for fixes.
It is at least a great camera, so when the time comes to upgrade from a C905 to a newer model remember this, your C905 is the best camera you'll already have in your pocket!

The phone is simple to use when its working, however more often than not there is some sort of problem with it.
Firstly the speakers broke within a few weeks of having the phone then it was sent away and it took ages to get it fixed. Secondly the phone started freezing up all the time. I finally gave up an got a new phone after just having it 7 months.
Not happy at all. These phones are very expensive for what they are.

I love this phone. I am often changing phones but this must be the one I have stuck with the longest. I particularly like the ability to view the whole conversation when texting people rather than just the text you receive.
There is a common problem with this phone and that is, the speaker goes in many of the handsets. I had mine a while and thought I had got a lucky one but unfortunately it did happen to me. Eventually I sent it off to Sony and they repaired it and had it back to me in days!
Brilliant phone, great camera. Massive space on the phone itself but can also expand with a memory card. Definitely reccommend.
