The cracking on the right hand side is common to virtually all our 730s and keys then start to fall off, even with the most considerate and gentle users. This has happened to us within weeks of purchase. Very disappointing build quality for a phone which is pretty good otherwise (apart from limited memory). The 740 looks more vulnerable but is much more robust.

The features and principles behind the phone are good. It should be a good phone. However the build quality, battery life, reliability are appalling.
I'm on my fourth handset in sixth months. Surveying a number of colleagues all but one of our handsets has the a crack to the right of the keypad. A number have developed a fault where they crash/shut down when you slide them to access the qwerty keyboard.
A disappointing phone, not to be recommended.
