Found the Winmo/Samsung interface very clunky and difficult to use/navigate and the on screen keyboard was far too small to be of any real use.
The lack of ability to create shortcuts or add widgets of your choice to the desktop didn't help, however, after a quick web search and download, installing the SPB mobile shell and Fingerboard keyboard made the phone an absolute breeze to use. So much so that it's the only phone I've ever wanted to keep when it comes to renewal time because there is nothing (including the iphone) that even comes close.
I ride a motorcycle every day and can even bluetooth music and calls directly to my helmet to keep me on the move.

A nice choice of phone for WinMo6 platform. It's rather outshone by the newer phones, but it still has a decent feature-set. Nice enough screen, reasonably fast for basic apps, good sound quality, and if you stick a custom shell on it it's very nice to use overall.

I had this phone for around 6 months before it finally sent me insane. The list of features on the phone is very good, but the usability is terrible thanks to windows 6.1.
I found that general navigation is fine, but the stylus is definitely needed to use the Windows functions. The only problem is that there is nowhere on the phone to store it. The TFT screen is poor in the daylight and scratches very easily and the touchscreen can be unresponsive at times. It also crashes if more than a couple of applications are running at once.
Its a shame about the OS as its a good looking and well made phone with loads of features. Maybe the Omnia 2 would be a better option.

Was a bit difficult to use at first, but after a few days was easy as pie to use. Good features and phone is so good that I decided to keep it and not upgrade in this years contract renewal as I feel no other phone would match up to it. This phone is light, not too big and has a nice big screen.

I have had the omnia for 15 months and I am on my 4th handset and 5th battery. All have had the same problem of cutting off without warning and freezing in off mode with the on off light flashing from red to green and the phone vibrating.
The only remedy is to remove the battery and then reboot. Orange have replaced on insurance scheme but would not have without me paying for the additional cover.
I now can't wait for the end of the 18 month contract, but don't know if the iphone is the best option. I can live with the omnia when it works but it is not a market leading option, I sometimes wish I had held on to my palm.
