I've had my C550 for 4 years now and have found it to be a really good phone. It's got lots of features and a decent camera on it and is very easy to connect to your PC.
It's biggest problems are in its menu design which isn't well thought out. Items are hidden where you would not expect them and often completely in the wrong place.
If you can live with these quirks it's a very solid, well built phone which stands the test of time well.

I've had my C550 for about 3 years now and it has been the best phone I've ever owned. It has lots of features and a wide range of applications are available for download.
The faults it has are in terms of the layout/design menus are not always well thought out and it takes a bit of getting used to.
For a budget phone to buy today, it would be a good choice as there is plenty included for not much cash at all.

I bought my C550 on Ebay second hand. For the money, I have to say that it is a pretty good phone. It's got lots of features and feels well built. Where it falls down is in the usability department. It has clearly been designed by one person who the design makes perfect sense to, but never tested on Joe Public. Menus are difficult to navigate and options are often in the oddest of places.
It's a reasonable phone and it can do an awful lot, just it isn't set out in the most logical of ways.

The SPV C550 is a great phone if you are someone who likes to be able to customise/fiddle with things. There are plenty of applications available to download and customise it and virtually every setting can be tweaked with if you want to.
The biggest drawback is the usability which isn't great. The phone has been put together by someone in Taiwan and I'm sure it made perfect sense to them at the time.
However, some of the settings are in strange places (e.g. data connections) and there clearly wasn't a lot of user testing before it was made. That's probably why the phone is pretty cheap for what it is - very good but not as well thought out as some of its competitors.

Brilliant little phone, looks good and has nice features. Only complaints would be that the camera isn't very good, and it can occasionally get a bit confused and crash...but I guess that is expected with Windows software. Excellent for use as an MP3 player, expandable storage and shortcut buttons make it very easy.
