Nice little phone, excellent for all skype users with free calls. Super 3g internet supply, in good areas offering a fast mobile internet connection. Software proves challenging at times, however once you are familiar with the three software format its a doddle. Overall a nice phone for budding internet users.

I think the Skype phone is a good phone, the battery lasts a long time. The internet and Skype connection are excellent. Its reception is very good and it holds enough names and phone numbers for me and my friends. It allows you to store their email addresses work numbers and however many mobiles they may have.

Skypephone S1 - The S1 is considered the Poor Man's version of the S2, however I found it much easier to tranfer data and music to and from the computer.
Each phone comes equiped with a CD Rom and full On-line instructions, and online support.
Since it has Internet capabilities you can do all your regular Internet stuff and also get e-mails sent to your mobile; the connectivity is irregular however.
BUT if you want to call abroad to another Skype user you can get free calls; be prepared for a short time delay in the relay. It is not a slimline as some would like (thicker than the S2) however it still is slim and I loved it - shame the glass screen broke!

I think that its a brilliant handset but there is also some simple design errors i.e the back of the mobile is not very strong and can snap a little bit alowing the back to become loose but it is still usable.
It has a good (considerable) camera and a whole lot of games and songs to buy from planet 3. The Skype is good but there is some errors such as long delays between, the otherwise the mobile is good.

I got the Skype phone in april last year and have found it to be a good little phone, it is a very user friendly piece of kit but it does have some foibles which are not explained in the user handbook. For instance, do not load everything onto the phone, use your sim card or memory card or the phone will freeze up on you.
The camera is excellent, I've used this on a number of occaisions and every picture has come out very well detailed, however the music player is not all that good as the speaker sounds very tinny, also when making or recieving calls some calls sound awful, especially if they are on another network like O2 or Vodafone, don't ask me why that is I cannot explain that one.
The Skype set up is easy and very very cost effective and saved me a fortune talking to the girlfriend so it was a very wise investment, downside of it though is battery life is not too good now and I still cant get a in car charger, but overall I love my little Skype phone.
