I loved this phone it was brilliant. Unfortunately after a while the camera quality went down a bit, and even after having it for a year I still could not work out how to zoom in on photos before taking them.

But overall I really enjoyed having this phone and the only reason I got a new one was because I felt the need for a change (I have a habit of changing them quite often).

Also you need a memory card because without one you wont be able to put anything on your phone.

I have had this phone a little over a year now, and I am still very happy with its performance. It has an excellent 3.2mp camera, very easy to use internet and file storage systems, is a great all rounder.

It has two prominant flaws, which may only be my phone but are worth remembering. Firstly, when using internet orientated applications like Opera Mini, it has a tendency to freeze up until the battery is removed. Secondly the build quality of the case is good but not great, especially if you text alot you will probably end up searching for a new case.

One tip, the non original cases for this are terrible so definitely pay the extra!

It is a good phone for entertainment and isn't too complex. I would reccomend this phone for anyone who enjoys listening to music on their phone and enjoys playing games as the battery life is also very good. I would say it is one of the best and most reliable phone I've had.

This is my second Sony Ericsson phone (my first being the K700i) and it satisfied and exceeded my expectations in every way. I got it 6 months ago for £8.50 a month on contract and it's available now for around £69 on pay as you go, so you could call it a budget model.

However this would belie the quality of the features and reliability of the phone. Let's start with the look and feel of the handset. This is a slim and lightweight model so won't weigh your pockets down, and it fits neatly whether held with one or both hands. The keypad is very nicely designed and is perfectly responsive, while the D-pad is probably the best on any Sony phone as it's so easy to use. The mini shortcut keys give quick access to the features you'll use most often, and there is scope to add shortcuts of your own as well.

A sliding embedded strip on the back of the phone serves the dual function of protecting the camera and activating it (though it is possible to deactivate it without sliding it shut). A tiny embedded button at the top is used to turn the phone on and off and also switch between various profiles. Although cheaply made, the handset is quite sturdy overall and mine remains in good condition after several months of use.

Moving on to the interface, and the colourful menu is everything you'd expect and all works fine. Writing text messages is a breeze once you become accustomed to the T9 writing mode, and you have the option to switch between several European languages. Adding new words to the dictionary couldn't be easier, and it's just as easy to delete any you add by mistake. There is seemingly storage space for several hundred messages.

Surfing the internet is a generally a smooth experience with the default browser, though for large web pages it's far better to use Opera Mini (which works like a dream on this phone). The zoom option on the standard browser should be avoided, as this sometimes leads to an error when opening pages. Apart from that, it's very good. Making calls is easy and you can turn on the speakerphone before the call is answered, plus the call quality seems perfectly fine.

A secondary camera in front means 2-way video calling is possible. One thing I'd recommend against is using this phone on the 3 network, as their signal seems less reliable on this model to me for some reason. The other UK networks work fine. What about the other features I hear you ask?

Being a CyberShot (tm) phone an inspection of the camera is obligatory, a 3.2 megapixel one in this case. The shots it takes look perfectly acceptable under normal conditions with plenty of clarity and colour, and there is a night mode and LED flash to help you cope with poorly lit conditions (the latter doubles as a torch). Photos from this phone won't stand up to close scrutiny when compared to a dedicated digital camera, but they're great for an inexpensive multi-purpose device such as this. The music player is of a high standard for a cheap phone, and you get the feeling that the Walkman (tm) label could just as easily have been applied to this product. The speaker is perfectly positioned at the back of the handset to achieve the best possible acoustic effect as you hold the phone in your hand.

Other notable features include a voice recorder, calculator, calendar, a multi-event alarm that can be set to recur on set days of the week, a stopwatch and timer, and a flight mode for offline use. To sum up, this is one of the best-value phones out there, intuitive and a triumph of design.

This phone has been around for some time and it still is now a great phone to own with a 3.2mp camera and a good screen for viewing videos. However the only fault in my opinion is the performance when watching youtube videos using WAP. Other than that It is a great phone to own.
