I have had this phone for 18 months, and it is the worse Nokia phone I have had. I am a heavy user of the phone, it has done 240 hours total talk time, so I can say from experience that it is rather ordinary.
Sure the features are there, but the keypad pops out from the slightess drops, the screen freezes at times, the battery is ok I guess for the amount of use, and has been pretty consistent since day one.
Also I have stuffed the power button and can no longer turn it off.

This is a great mobile phone with excellent features. The best is that you can customise the menu for almost every key so that you have your most frequently used features on demand all the time. For example, I need to keep changing my profile and using my camera depending on where I am, so I have Profile and Camera as the default selection on my opening menu. (left and right buttons). Also, the access to the calendar, to do lists, alarms etc is very easy.
The key negatives are the rubber buttons on the side for increasing and decreasing volume which are not easy to operate. Also, it does not allow you to time your profile. eg.if you want a silent profile for just 2 hours, it does not allow you to do that (which earlier Nokia models used to).
Also, the keys are quite small so you end up pressing the wrong keys if you have slightly thick fingers/thumbs. But all in all a great model. Great looking, brilliant features.

My Nokia E51 was given to me by my company. It is a suitable business phone with all the bells that you've come to expect from an enterprise phone like WiFi, mail sincronization etc.
This mobile phone is very sturdy (I have dropped it several times and it is still working), and the keypad feels very nice to the touch.
It is not the best mobile for gaming or MP3 listening, but it also does a decent job at those.
The battery is nice, and it lasts for almost a week (with light usage) and 3/4 days with heavy (business) usage.
Overall this phone is very well designed for the enterprise market, and not so much for the entertainment one. As I said before I have not bought mine, but I can recommend it without any problem.

This phone is only really suitable for business users. It is a nice shape, and fairly thin and light, but not very usable (in terms of the menu) unlike other Nokia phones. The battery life is excellent, and the phone is durable - I have dropped it several times and it has survived! Camera is good quality and pictures come out well on the computer.

The Nokia E51 is excellent both as a personal or business phone, the phone itself is robust and very well designed and can stand up to every day bumps and shocks that it may come across. The phone software from personal experience is easy to use, navigate and provides a much more stable, reliable platform.
The Camera although only 2.0 mega pixel is of a very high standard, picture quality is spot on for a camera of this type and exceeded my expectations. As for the rest of the phones functionality it includes all the basics that you would expect to find with any modern day phone with the added advantage that it supports email over Microsoft exchange for business use.
The only real negative point that I can comment on with this particular phone is battery levels, these phones are excellent on standby with battery lasting from 3 4 days but if you are a heavy user on calls then from a full charge you will be lucky to get a full days use from the E51 battery.
Good points
:Robust Design
:Light Weight & Slim
:Reliable Software Platform
:Decent Camera
:Works With Microsoft Exchange for Business Customers
Bad Points
:Heavy battery usage when making lots of calls
Overall a very good phone 4/5 based on my personal experience, I would highly recommend this phone for small business users and already do recommend this model to any of our business customers who ask our advice.
