A handset that I call 'old faithful' and for good reason. When I first got this phone, it was reluctant as I am more of a flip-phone fan. However, I was proved wrong in my assertion that I would not like it. The size of the phone is ideal, both in terms of handling it and storing it in my handbag. The buttons and controls are positioned well so they can be easily used, when necessary, for example, when increasing the volume. Similarly, the buttons are of a size that ensures that you do not accidentally press two buttons at once. I have occasionally used the phone for Internet use, but the screen is too small to make it easy. The call facility works well though. The battery lasts for a long time without it needing to be charged and I have never had a problem with the signal no matter where I am. A good solid phone.

Nokia 6500 slide is a stylish 3G phone with a superb 3.2 camera and a large hi-res LCD display. For me it was a great phone when it first came out as it offered video calling, bluetooth, mp3 player and an expandable memory for which you can store hundreds of songs and videos etc. However, on the bad side the phone is quite heavy and big especially when you slide it open. The music quality is good on the phone but wouldn't say its the best.

To use the phone its very easy as it's not touchscreen and the keyboard is the same as every other nokia phones. It is a simple phone with the usual add ons (radio, time, calculator etc.). It's a comfortable phone to hold and play around with. As for the performance it's does the job however at times it will freeze or go blank and you will have to start the phone again by taking the battery out, but for me that's a usual problem for all nokia phones I had.

With regards to the battery life, its good. I use it daily for texting, calling and listening to music. I charge it every night and roughly takes about 2-3 hours to charge. Overall I'd say if someone just wants a simple phone with good features for a reasonable price they should get this one as it has the features which everyone use in their daily life such as texting, calling, listening to music or radio and a good camera quality.

This phone is nice and petite, and easy to use as most Nokia's are. The slide feature makes it easy to lock and unlock the phone. Really good keys for text messages. The alarm and ring tones are very loud and easy to hear. The vibrate is also nice and strong so will not miss a message or call. All other features are simple to use. Low storage, not up to the standard of other smart phones today or just standard phones as technology has moved on since the phone was first released. However, if you are looking for a nice reliable easy to use phone this is the phone for you.

If you love slide phones, you would love this phone. It's extremely good looking, with the numbers etc hidden.

The features and applications aren't great so don't get this phone if you want internet, high quality pictures and videos. I found that the keypad got a little stuck sometimes, and it froze. But if you want a phone simply for texting and making calls then this is a stylish choice.

The phone is fairly easy to use and the menu is simple to access. The appearance is very attractive. The screen is nice and clear however after time I did get a scorch mark appear in the bottom left corner. Sound sometimes not clear during calls. Very durable and easy to handle. Overall quite pleased.
