Phone is a good phone, looks great and has loads of features, however unfortunately I'm on O2 pay as you go and they are unable to provide any settings for setting it up so a lot of the features of the unit (like emailing and web browsing) are not able to be used. Check with your supplier before picking this phone if on pay as you go.

I has tested this phone on behalf of Microsoft. The phone took some getting used to, but once I was up and running I found it quite easy to use. My main gripe is that to use the music player you must have an expansion memory card, and the excel/notepad function is quite fiddly - I never got it to work.
The model I had did not have wi-fi, which I felt on an advanced model should really have been included.
The buttons feel chunky and solid and the screen was lovely and clear. The range of ringtones is good, and you can personalise this phone rather well. All in all I'd buy it, but maybe only the version with wifi.

Brilliant phone, a bit disappointed it does not have a radio in it, but has a really fab MP3 player - The camera is excellent quality and texting with the qwerty keyboard makes life very easy, battery is great as long as not constantly on sync with the computer, lasts around 2 days with minimal use, overall its a great phone.

On the whole I have been pleased with this phone, but I have had some unexpected problems with it, such as limited battery life, and then it refusing to accept changes to default settings.
Plus points are the camera, which is great, the screen, which is very clear, the sound, which is also good, and the overall look and feel, plus the keyboard; minus points those referred to plus an unnecessarily complicated menu structure.

As a extra to my Motorola Q9 review, I have found the Motorola site support fixed my connection problem instantly. All I had to do was list my supplier and phone with my number. They sent the settings which once I entered a code that they gave on site did the business instantly and it worked.
I would say to anyone with a problem to try the manufacturers site first. If I had done that I wouldn't have had the problems trying to manually fix it.
Now up and running I have found the Q9 very easy to work with. The combination of soft touch control buttons and the central wheel are very easy to use.
Everyday I am finding something else on board that I like, from adding photos to contacts, not important but I love it.
