I like the phone, and the keyboard is easy to use, however, the phone is a little complicated to use, and could do with a more user friendly manual accompanying it. Being a Nokia, however, it is robust and can stand to be dropped without breaking. In summary, I like the phone, however, in reality, I doubt I would buy another.

A brilliant phone packed with features such as the GPS which is very useful in unknown places. This works well with standard packages and aftermarket ones such as google maps. With excellent reception on the WiFi making it possible to quickly check emails or download maps etc without added costs of data.
Can be used as a traditional phone or QWERTY keyboard. With many great features such as spreadsheets and document facilities for viewing, editing or creating. With the card slot, supplied with 512Mb micro SD which is plenty for most users.
Photo's are of a reasonable quality at 3M pixel. There are only minor draw backs to this phone. To open the camera facility it must be accesed through the menu or added to the active background as pressing the button on the side does not open this function and the feet that are supposed to make it sit flat on a surface are uneven meaning the phone rocks slightly.
All in all an excellent phone which has many upgrades through many web sites, often free of charge to work on the very well designed Symbian 60 3rd edition platform. I would definately purchase this phone again due to its great flexibility performing well for office tasks to media.

The communicator range was Nokia's first big push to make phones which were aimed at businessmen and email users. The E90 is (I believe) the tenth version of the phone - 9 years after they first started making them.
This is certainly better than the older versions. It comes in a good solid (typical of Nokia) unbreakable case. Runs on Symbian OS. Uses Micro SD to expand its memory. It weights a bit more than the competition at 210 g. I have been told by a friend that the hinges on this one are much better than the older versions which he said snapped - I didn't use the old ones but these do seem solid. It also opens up and lies down flat - I am not sure the last ones would open that far - making it easier to avoid sun glare on the screen.
The phone has two screens, one on the outside (I don't know the resolution but it is full colour) and the inside main one is 240x320 pixels, 16 million colors. It has wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS navigation, a mini USB slot on the base (making it easy to plug into your computer without any special leads).
I think between this and the Ameo (another opening powerful phone) I would go with the Ameo... this one is smaller - but still big enough to look silly when held up to your ear (bluetooth headset should be bought). The Ameo has a bigger screen and the cool tilt mechanism to scroll down pages... This one just isn't quite as cool or powerful.

A good phone for those who want to carry everything in one device, although the design does make it bulky, but the mini laptop design is good, and gives a good sized screen for web browsing. The wifi capability along with good 3G browsing inclusive tarifs makes the email section in messaging very useful especially when used with the always available feature. Get your email instantly always.
